i wouldn't worry about it all to much, honestly. women rule the world. they just let us men think we do. self confidence goes a long way when it comes to being self conscious. it's mind over matter. if you don't mind than it don't matter. and it's obvious that before you went to the dr's that day, you didn't mind. keep that self confidence up and just remember that it doesn't matter.

these past couple weeks I have found that being a girl can be very hard and complicated. I realize that guys have some of the same problems but I dont think they think about it or let certain things bother them as much as girls do. For instence- I have a hip problem going on and had to see this young doc and he made me very self consious about myself and my weight. I am an athlete and I am 5 7" (147lbs) and while I know I am not perfect I know I am not fat. But I do have to admit that when I go and get something to eat I can't help but think about the way he looked at me or when he answered my question about my weight being a healthy weight for my life style. If you are wondering he told me that I am healthy but am definetly not the smallest girl in the world:flaw:. Of course Im not tiny I play at a college level and have to go through training for it( this guy is really skinny and small btw)! Im just writing this because yes in some sense I am now more self consious about myself and hope that everyone out there watches what they say to girls- cuz there are a lot of girls that starve themselves cuz of what people say.U_U
well if your not fat but stil have wide hips or ass your good in my book.lol i love girls with those types of shapes. and you said your an athelete too? so that means your getting physical activity and staying fit so is a big:flaw::flaw::flaw::flaw::flaw::flaw::flaw::flaw::flaw::flaw::mad: to the doc.O.O:no_ignore::eek:

If your worried about your weight and your an Athlete then you could just cut out any highly fatty foods. Eat a bit healthier and you should lose that excess weight with time. Also if you don't eat fatty foods you can eat more food and not worry :3. I eat all my sandwiches without mayo (half cause its healthy and half cause I'm too lazy to put mayo on it) and I stay in very good shape.

Oh and guys seem to be divided into 3 categorys regarding weight.
#1. Guys that actively try to stay in shape and not gain weight (ME)
#2. Guys that don't give a s#!7
#3. Guys that don't pay attention and wouldn't lose the weight unless someone they respect a lot said they are fat.

I'm not worried about my weight- I was really just focusing this on the way the doc was insensitive about the subject(and I really didnt think this thread we have six pages worth of posts). Although I know he may not have meant it or didnt think it through all the way I would think a person in that profession would know that females especialy (and of course males as well) can take that and usually do take there weight very seriously and are sensitive when even just a random person comments about there weight. So how would someone that was worried about there weight (whether they should be or not) take that type of comment and what would there actions be? Some would try and lose weight the healthy way (watch what they eat work out whatever) but unfortunetly some will resort to not eating at all or working out too much thus endangering there health. thats all I'm trying to say here.
