Yeah you just electricuted yourself your clones would have died cause if you chidori water its not like its gonna repel the water its just gonna stop it and send electricity in it and cause the water is near you causeing your clones to die, then you used chidori current in the water, that would come straight back at you cause you would have to be on the water to use it into the water cause it is short range... >_<

my clones didn't get electricuted i used chidori to like cut through the jets
and i also stood with my feet together and stuff so the cocentric circles of the chidori current didn't electricute me eithor also we are in short distance of each other so the chidori thing does work.

Electricity speads through water >_< it would come back at you, and your clones would die cause normal chidori has electricity coming off it and the water would go all over you, and if that didnt happen your clones would have to be close to you to take the jets for you, cause i aimed them at you. so then when you used chidori current it might not have got you but it would spread across the water and get your clones, and mostlikely you aswel >_< And its just commen sence if you use a lightning attack when water is around you you would get hit, unless its an attack that comes from in the air.
Then that lightning attack cause it is a tornado thingy it would repel my water attack, I use

Well they can't he just makes handseals and says the name of the jutsu, i use the jutsu from underwater so it looks like im not a clone,
i come up out of the water behind you and use
