Jumping in the Pain fight wasn't smart, But she loved him. Pain was after Kyubi, you know the most powerful bijuu on the planet. I don't know how she got a 3.5 in intelligence same with Sasuke, Deidara and Kisame. Esp. when people like Zabuza, Neji, Gai, Ino have 3 and well above her at this department. Heck she pales in comparasion to Lee and Kiba with 2s in intellect department.

Btw point of that exam was passing the test like a ninja; cheating without getting caught. If she passed the whole thing wo cheating that means she was not thinking like a ninja and missed the whole point of exam. And giving copy to Naruto was God damn stupid if any.

So we can basically conclude that, due to lack of feats, Hinata is of average, or, if looking it from a Shinobi-only point of view, below average intelligence. She can be outsmarted by pretty much anyone that has had even a single moment of battle intelligence.

@bold The irony... I ask myself the same thing while reading your post.

People were able to show moments of her stupidity in the manga/anime. People were not able to show her intelligence/combat smarts using the manga/anime.

If you want to use the DB again I'll post the Sasuke page again, maybe even the Haku and the Itachi one.
