That's not true. There was a time when man lived harmoniously with nature. Which means it could happen again.

Maybe once but i can't see us ever living like that again, Unless some crazy world wide disaster destroys everything and wipes most of us off the planet and we are forced to do so.

not gonna lie. ther is a few good ideas on this thread for improving our world. some of them may even work.
But then if its not one thing, its another. ultimately the idea of an "ideal world" cannot be achieved. it just cannot b done.
if u want any advice. enjoy your life while you can. go do that thing u have always wanted to do.

1. Hm... so then what do you believe is the cause of more crimes being committed by men? Also it's just a biological fact that women are less aggressive on average than men. Be it due to hormones or whatever, that's just how it is. They have a tendency to be maternal because of evolution and their place over time as a mother who takes care of the children rather than the father who goes out and kills sabertooth tigers and stuff to bring home. That's why men must be biologically more aggressive. (Not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, just that it's the cause of why cases of ambitious and power hungry individuals tend to be male.

The higher male crime rate may be because men tend to settle things via their fists. While this sounds bad initially, we can't have the entire world dealing with problems the stereotypical woman way. I've known many women who turn around and slander some of their supposedly best friends and this just escalates as each person retaliates, this leads to long-term grudges and that just isn't healthy. This is contrasted to men who are known to start physical confrontations over their problems, the bonus is that after the fighting men will often move on and hold no ill feelings.

I'm not trying to offend women here, I just find the physical fighting between males will cause short-term hurting but after that all is generally forgiven as opposed to long-term pain caused by some emotional warfare by women.

But these "ideal" rules would probably destroy mankind. Especially with Points 1 and 2, we would without a doubt over populate the earth and mankind would perish IMO - that is just going against nature, its there for a reason. As for Points 3, 4 and 5..it would be nice but that's an impossible dream.

The way you described the woman to man ratio you implied that women would be better decision makers, which I question. I often find that women make decisions on emotion, whereas big decision that affect a country need to be made on logic and reason.

No religion is impossible. And in the example you provided, it was good to see that the families of the deceased were able to find comfort in the passing of young lives. Who are you to decide what method's are appropriate for dealing with pain?
Religion can be a helpful tool but when taken to the extremes, as with all things, it becomes problematic.
Renewable energy and clean fuels by company's worldwide would be nice, but the eventuality of such a phenomenon is still many, many years away.

I would add that people should all be capable of speaking multiple languages.
And that shows like Jersey Shore and books like Twilight, which effectively make people dumber, should be ban. Anyone who is caught violating that edict should be killed.

I had some downtime between classes the other day and I got to thinking for some odd reason, what would make an ideal world? I came up with a lot of strange ideas. They included:

-A woman to man ratio of 60:40 in the population
(my friend said it should be 70:30... he probably just wants more girls in the world -.-)
This might sound sexist, but I think it would result in less crime, less war, and more sympathy towards the unfortunate and a stronger dedication to preserving the environment. I mean, women tend to be less aggressive than men and more emotions/feelings/intuition oriented and therefore more likely to find a non-violent solution to a problem.

-Legalize marijuana and prostitution.
Okay, that thought might seriously throw some people, especially the prostitution part, but hear me out. The logic of legalizing marijuana is kind of a given, and if we put a tax on it we could generate income for the state/country. Imo, alcohol causes much more death and unhappiness than marijuana, yet it's perfectly legal. (Provided you're the right age.)

As for prostitution, legalizing it would be a huge blow to organized crime and human trafficking. Think about this-- law enforcement in the U.S. spends as much in a single day tracking down illegal drugs and their sellers as they do a whole year tracking down human trafficking rings. It's horrible, considering that humans, unlike drugs, can be used over and over, are easier to find, and can be psychologically and physically damaged. By legalizing it, we could not only severely lower the amount organized crime makes off of human trafficking, but we can also regulate prostitution and make it safer by requiring regular STD screening checks.

-No religion

This one might be controversial as well. Don't get me wrong, I've seen first-hand the power religion has over people. I went to a dinner for my friend's church, and this couple testified about how their 22 year old son who was gifted in many aspects, art, science, math, language, died saving one of his friends, then, in the following months lost their baby in a miscarriage, and another baby in a few years after. Instead of being angry/depressed they found comfort that their children were with the Lord now, and were almost happy.

Religion also teaches morals and things, this I know, however, I think that a lot of these older morals that religion instills in people is holding us back from advancing as a race.

People fight each other because of religion, condemn people who are different, and people in power whose morals are influenced by it are keeping science and technology from advancing.

-Have every country exclusively use environmentally friendly and renewable energy sources.

...This one is kind of obvious.

Anyway, I had a bunch more but those are the main ones. I had some weird ones like "before you could have children you needed to take and pass an IQ test"

I wish there was like a "world simulation" game where you could control different nuances of the population and the government so I could test my theories out. Something like the sims but on a global and political scale...

damn, I live in an (almost) Ideal world.
I live in the Netherlands where drugs and prostitution are legal, the environment is on point number one, we are among the least religious in Europe (about 50% "believes" in god and only 18% still follows any religious book) (the netherlands also accept everybody no matter who they are while religoun would say things like "being gay is a sin" or "non believers must be converted or killed" (yeah the bible actually said that non believers must be killed and stuff) (in my personal opinion: the world would know way less war without religion and people would be more equal, we don't need god to be caring for other people and if you need to fear gods revenge to do so then you are a fake), and we have more women then we have men (it differs about <1%)

in early history (way back) women were the dominant ***, this were the most blood thirty times ever known. these women would make there arrows rusty so if one were scraped by one he would die (tetanus or in dutch kaak klem, which is a disease that trives in rusty metal and it makes you unable to move your jaws). these women were armed to the teeth and didn't take prisoners.
later on when the dominance switched women where pushed into this model of being nice and stuff resulting in what we see today

1). The men/women ratio is pretty stupid; blameing the crimes on men for the well known stereotype of "every girl gets along" is crazy. If you look around you would see that women are allways argueing, harrassing, excluding one another and acting nasty to each other based on either looks or what you have, and will eventually commit suicide for it, which can in a way be looked at as technically causeing the death and is thus murder.

2). Now the reason for more deaths and trouble with alcohol than marijuana is because marijuana is illeagal, if it wasn't the death rate for marijuana would fly right past alcohol.

As for the prostitution thing, it's just disgusting and morally wrong to let it be allowed. if someone ends up haveing a child with that "person" the parent who actually wants to raise that child has to go along with the stress, discipline, money payments and all around support for that child alone; which can lead to a bad environment, which can than lead to falling end to the wrong crowd, getting hooked on marijuana, get into a gang, murder someonen thrown in prison and when your let out (if your let out that is) you'll probably won't be able to get a job, because you more than likely weren't able to go to college and you'll soon end up being a hobo on the streets. All because we decided to legalize prostitution.

3). As for the religion part, i don't really want to offend anyone on here so i'm just going to talk about the moral part. Morals help instill good behavior, respect for others and good desicion makeing for people at a young age.The help us know the difference between right and wrong instead of everyone doing what ever they want just because they can. Infact about 60% of the people in the whole world no longer use anty kind of moral reasoning and look at where we are now.:| Oh and the "advancing in are race" thing is pretty stupid if you asked me. (which you technically did)

4). This one is not so obvious, because things environmentally are just fine right now. what are you afraid of ? Global warming?:rofl: Now i'm not saying that it's bad to do it, just don't get carried away.

You are stupid for even allowing to get rid of these laws. These laws were made to keep order and peace. You're pretty much letting the laws stand for nothing.

I more insulted that you believe religion is full of "old morals". This is rediculous that you believe that the reason were not advancing is because of religion? You're just looking for an excuse, in my opinion.

yeah I know right the men to women ratio has to be so that we are all equal (as far as rights/ opportunities go) like 70:30

there must be some renewable source of energy that doesn't kill the atmosphere and wars will only be settle by the best of each nation like a squad (of the best six) from each country battle it out and sees who wins

most things should be free and we should try to limit our waste here

It's not like a greed at a lower level than this government's is unheard of. You see other countries with things like universal healthcare and a more earnest dedication to the preservation of the environment.
