Well, it wasn't said outright, more like just inferred with the way Sai was talking to Hanabi. Still, I think it very well is the case.

I just realized the thread from yesterday got deleted which is a shame. Yea I was able to piece thing together which becomes pretty apparent to me. This episode tells us alot about the fact that the Gezzou Tenou on Sumire was not resolved which speaks volume of her potential she can bring to the story. Hanabi is looking after Sumire who happens to be Boruto Aunt. Hanabi asked Boruto to come back once he figures out how to unleash his dormant Joagan. This imply that maybe Hanabi will train Boruto at some point and we know she's also looking after Sumire which fits the pieces of the puzzle.

Do you think it's any coincidence that Sumire is dressed as the Rabbit Goddess or was it the writer intention to set her up for something bigger due to the parallesim??

It likely is a subtle nod to her connection to Kaguya. If you look at the other two, their animal suits also correspond to their characters. Wasabi has her Cat Mode, and is wearing a cat suit, and Namida's last name relates to birds, and she is wearing a bird suit

Do you guys think this foreshadows Konohamaru X Hanabi?
Really a fan of this kid lol. I dread her timeskip version in this Ikemoto's manga though. I can be petty af and i think deep down i don't read the manga because i can't forgive how she was drawn in the beginning. xD
Don't follow the anime yet.. was he actually blushing because of her or he was just drunk?

Yea I guess this team symbolize after these animals for reasons. Im not sure if Wasabi and Namida are going to be any more relevant in the future since they only appear to develop sumire but this dress costume could set up for something bigger.
This shot seems to be a bit predicament but I wouldn't surprise when Fanfiction becomes reality.

When Hinata gets the opportunity to fight with the ootsutski whoever maybe, she may still retain Hamura chakra and use it as her only leverage to atleast sustain herself from dealing a god. The Anime infers that Hamaru chakra is still a factor after how much it was setup with the Ootsutski aliens coming into the play and as soon as Toneri made debut, the event from the Last Movie becomes prevalent since now Toneri plays a crucial role with his ties to the Joagan watching over Boruto who happens to be Hinata son that he used to looked after her.
Mitsuki further solidify this when he confirmed the status of Hinata as the "Byakugan Princess"
It's questionable how much the plot of the movie will revamp its structure or perhaps straying away from the manga storyline and form its own originality but we can assume that Urashiki will have a clash with Toneri independently and then standby on the coastline but if not then he will tag along with Momo/Kinshiki the entire time which allows to give more roles for the Side characters.
In that case, it's likely Hinata will be confronted against Urashiki during the incident when Naruto gets abducted by Momo/Kinishi in the battle.
I picked Urashiki as the most possible candidate to be facing Hinata since he was taken an inspiration by the folktale of Usihmataro forming strong relationship with princess Otohime which is likely infer to Kaguya if we were to draw the line with Boruto .
Urashiki could be the person who was closely associate with Kaguya as his lover before he was betrayed when she left him and departed to Earth. This was referenced the idea of Usihmataro fisherman who provided great services to the princess and was rewarded for saving the turtle. Yet the princess dissuade him from leaving; in the end, the princess decided to leave him for good with parting gift.
In hindsight, Kaguya backstory still yet to be fully explored .
So the point here is that Urashiki might fight Hinata because she serves the reminder as Kaguya which instantly draw the parallelism with her features with the byakugan and her status as the princess.

You two are probably right, I didn't really catch the end with all those bottles. I don't really care for the ship per say, but I'm not against having Hanabi's relationships being fleshed out regardless.

I don't know if I've said this already, but I feel like Bolt and Himawari would have way better character designs if they switched their hair colors. It just works so much better.
