That is correct, but the amount of feats he has is nothing close to that of Akainu which is not fair at all. However, what are you basing his feats being lesser of that of an Admiral on exactly? Oda went out of his way to use his feat and Kizaru's feat in a parralel. Don't also forget the feat which he casually did by slicing the iceberg Aokiji casually made which was casually done by WB. See, Oda is grouping him with the big boys. Why some people ignore this, I will never know. Perhaps it's the hate for the guy? Or maybe him being so such an emo maybe :\

I never denied he is one of the final villians. You said that he is the final one and therefore is stronger than Mihawk(which I would agree with if that was the case). But it isn't because there's also Blackbeard.

How? He is not going for the title of PK. Furthermore, Aokiji is most likely stronger than one of the Emperors, does that make him a candidate for PK and strongest in the show? The Emperors are in stalemate not because of their personal strength but with their allied and crews combined.

That difference would go against Mihawk's title and Zoro's dream though. Haki is not a fighting style, but a supplement. Thus, unless Shanks is like WB, a devil fruit user who uses a weapon, he can't be stronger than Mihawk being a swordsman first and foremost. I personally believe Shanks is not a devil fruit user since he himself said it goes against the way of pirate(something along those lines) but if is, I could see him being stronger because he gives off that vibe.

You're a dangerous man.

Has Mihawk stepped down from your top 3 strongest?

No. He's still up there in the top 3. I've found the key to causing massive storms of shit though...

Make a versus thread including Mihawk. Once someone mentions Shanks the clouds will slowly start turning brown

Mihawk is top 3 strongest One Piece characters? Now that's a first.

You've got the whole key thing down alright.

Were talking about characters that are currently alive btw. Not Roger, WB, etc.

I rest my case

Well Mihawk is far from weak, its just that its hard to argue for him. Mihawk is my favourite Shichibukai but it is really hard to argue for him when he's not been portrayed with the Admirals. The iceburg feats makes him a top tier imo I can tell he is a top tier, but the thing is, no he has not been paired or portrayed alongside the Admirals or the Yonkou. He probably has to mid diff Vista from the looks of things when Akainu would squat Vista away combined with all the WB commanders at the same time. I will ask you? Do you see Oda portray A vista and Akainu clash or stalemate? Not in a million years, Akainu was running over countless mid to high tiers the level of Vista all at the same time, he took on Marco, Vista, Croc, Jimbe, The rest of the commanders easily. He has the ability to one shot characters the likes of Vista and Jimbe while Mihawk wasn't portrayed the same way.
It seems like we're making progress. You have to remember, Akainu was bloodlusted from the very start. Of course, he will be looking much more impressive than a guy whos bored. So, since that's not how Akainu's character acts like while Mihawk's does, I don't see Oda doing that. Like I said in the other thread, he was put in the same league as the big guys in the chapter called the battle of the mightiest and we see how his and Kizaru's attack are stopped. Oda is not doing this for anything other than putting them together. Akainu never took on the commanders and etc easily? Why do some people think this??? This was after his battle with WB. He or anybody is not taking down an Emperor crew. That's absurd. He obviously had help there.

Not as funny as this:

hahaha wow. There is a limit to wank.

For the non believers I could go on forever how Mihawk is portrayed to be beneath the Admirals.

M3 heirarchy is a good example:

Luffy always fights the strongest
Zoro fights second strongest
Sanji fights third strongest

2 years training mentors

Luffy ---------- Rayleigh

Zoro ---------- Mihawk

Sanji ---------- Ivankov

Why would Oda break the heirarchy now? It is clear how he makes the layout of the M3, and he did the mentors in order from strongest to weakest the same way.

Rayleigh is slightly under Kizaru, he could hold him off but didn't have the stamina if the fight would be dragged on forver.
Mihawk is portrayed below Rayleigh. There are so many hints Oda gives with this...im surprised you guys continue to ignore these.

Mihawk is among the strong characters there is no doubting that, but he hasn't had the portrayels of the Admirals and Oda has also left some other clues here and there. Akainu is bloodlusted sure, but look at Kizaru or Aokiji for example, they would never had an issue with Vista. Mihawk is below the Admirals but he is still a top tier.

Also Akainu plowed right through all the commanders all alone. It was 1 vs 10+ and he plowed right through them...it wasn't until Shanks came where he was finally put to a halt. The fact that he was injured from the WB battle and still couldn't be stopped only adds to how beast this guy is, this isnt something Mihawk would be capable of doing.

Rayleigh is weaker than Mihawk. It's a fact. So, no Oda never went with the heirarchy for the mentors. He went for the one that suits them the best.

Its all portrayel for me. There is no proof whatsoever that Rayleigh is weaker than Mihawk, the only little clues we have we have to put together and this is as clear cut as it gets. Sanji got the weakest mentor there is no denying that. So then why would Zoro get someone stronger than the main character?

There is no portrayal regarding that at all. The proof that Mihawk is stronger than Rayleigh can be found if you take a look at his title. Like I said, Rayleigh was better suited to train Luffy. The only reason Mihawk even bothered to train Zoro is because he wants Zoro to surpass him.

Going by Mihawks title he would be > Shanks. It doesn't work like that. And im not pointing at why Mihawk decided to train Zoro, im strictly speaking from an Oda point of view, the hierarchy that was used.

It does work like that. It's just that, we don't know for a fact if Shanks has a devil fruit or not, making him similar to Law. Whereas Rayleigh's strongest fighting style is his swordsmanship.

lol so lets say Shanks doesn't have a DF....would Mihawk be put > Shanks despite everything we've seen? It doesn't work like that. Shanks most likely doesnt have a DF, he didn't have it in the past so he would have had to get it later on.

Probably Sakazuki high-extreme diff. Sakazuki has more hype and portrayal backing him.

No, not necessarily but it would be very suggestive since Oda is seemingly portraying him as a swordsman. For all we know, the guy likes to block attacks with a weapon and send the opponents on a trip with a kick. However, that's not the case with Rayleigh.

?? And feats? Are you saying Mihawk has better feats lol? Sakazukis feats are in a whole other level. You agreed his hype and portrayal > Mihawks, and his feats certainly are better than Mihawk. So how does Mihawk win if he's inferior in every way?

Big Mihawk fan, but like I posted in the first akainu vs Mihawk thread......

Akainu wins

Warlords never keep exact levels of their yonkou enemies.

Somewhere along the grand line, the rival surpasses them to get that yonkou title.
