I loved it, i thought it was very effective and offensive and I liked how you used the terrain to your advantage. Your second move was okay, though i'd like to point out that the water fang bullet would probably not kill me, however, it does have the power to break a bone or two from my back, depending on the area you hit. And the last one, i thought it was a perfect counter, and probably the only technique capable of countering my sword at such close proximity." Tobirama gave the student one thumbs up, and a simple "Good Job, you weren't half bad! :)" He then walked to a nearby boulder and sat on it, as he explained the next stages of training. "So now.. we go onto B-ranks. Same proccess as usual, I ask you to perform it, give some advantages/disadvantages and an extra thing, depending on what kind of technique it is. Keep in mind, you'd need to perform nature transformation to change the nature of it into the properties of water. Once that is done, manipulate the already-existing water and use shape manipulation to shape it into a large dragon. Manipulate the nature of the water to make the water more dense and pressurized, therefore hitting the enemy would cause direct physical damage. It's quite an awesome technique and depending on the amount of chakra used or the amount of water available, you'd be able to create a larger one!" Tobirama points at the trees 20 meters away. Jugram holds his palm out to unleash the water and launches it at the wall of flames causing it to extinguish and leave behind a cloud of steam.

The advantages to this technique are that it can be used for defense and offense. It can block A-rank katons and B-rank of other jutsu. However it will be beaten by C-rank doton. Additionally, the jutsu requires no water source.

The disadvantage to this is that you have to maintain focus while using it so as to keep the jutsu active if you are using it for defense. This means that you cannot channel other jutsu at the same time.

To use it for offensive purposes I will use its brute force to break my opponent's bones. I will also use it to attempt to force my opponent to use a doton to defend themselves in which case I will follow up with a raiton and another suiton combined. The damage from this attack could be devastating. For defensive purposes I'll use it to of course defend against Katons and some mid level taijutsu attacks.

Well senpai. The advantage to this technique is that it is a very devastating one in both size and power making it difficult to defend against.

However it the disadvantages are huge. If you don't have mastery in suiton this technique will require 44 hand seals. Even with faster hand seals that is a ton. So it makes it very slow to use and leaves you very very open. Additionally it requires a water source so it not only becomes a cumbersome jutsu but also a situational one as well.

To be honest unless I take my mastery in water I probably won't be using this at all in battle. However if I do use it I will try to bind my opponent down as much as possible before I proceed to use it to minimize my openings.

"Up next is my second favorite jutsu, Water dragon whip." Tobirama pitches in about thirty training dummies around the battlefield, from behind, the sides, and the front of the student. Once that is done, he points at the hand seal needed for the technique. "Alright, while performing the hand seal take your chakra and perform nature transformation to change the nature of your chakra into the properties of water. Once you've done that, send it around you, say, in front of you. You'd need to make the orb near you, however the second part has a long range reach. Materialize water with your water chakra from the atmosphere and perform shape manipulation to shape it into an orb. Once it looks like a perfect orb, like the one in the drawing i created (Spoiler), perform shape manipulation even further to shape out whips. These whips should be compressed and not too thin, but would still be capable of impaling flesh. "This technique is very simple, the concept should be familiar and simple as well, but it would be a larger scale." Tobirama points at a tall tree. "Our target is that. It's a tree and it's pretty old, so it shouldn't be too hard to break through. You know the hand seal we used in our last technique? Yeah. we're using that once again. While performing the tiger hand seal, perform nature transformation to change the nature of your chakra into the properties of water. Materialize water in your mouth and hold it in. Once you have the required amount of water in your mouth, release it all at once and perform shape manipulation to shape it into one large sphere of water. Use your chakra to add a spinning motion to it, making it more dangerous if the enemy is struct by it. The sizes vary, depending on how much chakra you want to spend on it, so it can be big enough to be classified as an A-rank, or just the normal B-rank size. You can spit out a barrage of five bullets if you want, though the power is distributed between the bullets. Perform one large one to take down that tree, and perform 5 small ones on that training dummy." Tobirama adds a training dummy in the battlefield, noticing that he forgot to add one z-z.

Jugram forms the Tiger hand seal for this next awesome technique. Finally something different. Finally a break from sticking my palm out and shooting water from it. He thought as he molded his energies into raw chakra and then used nature transformations to convert it to suiton chakra. With this he sent it to a location in front of him and materialized it. Using his shape transformation he changed it into the shape of an orb and released the impaling whips of water from it spearing the dummies straight through.

Finally an interesting technique :|. This technique is awesome for many reasons and so far is shaping up to be my favorite of the B-ranks. First off the technique can attack from a wide range of angles in front of the enemy reducing their routes of escape and dodging this technique through movement. You can eliminate clones or multiple targets with this and even use a long range wide spread lightning jutsu to empower their damage. And of course as the technique stated you can have multiple whips come off this.

The disadvantages are that if you use multiple whips, the damage of each one goes down. One whip will have a B-rank attack power while 2 whips will both have C-Rank attack power. And this goes on and on. I'm pretty sure this disadvantage applies to all multi-projectile jutsus.

I would really like to use this in battle to attack an enemy's clones and attempt to get rid of them in one swing. I could also use this in conjunction with my own clone. I myself could use this technique while my clone uses another in an attempt to corner my opponent and force them to use a doton.

He then repeats the process and unleashes five bullets from his mouth. Each one smaller than the single one that was aimed at the tree. These are direct at the training dummies laid out for him.

I've always liked this technique for seeing the toad summons use it. What is great about this technique is that it is not just a sphere of water but also spinning. The damage is much greater and can inflict some pretty serious damage with a direct hit. It is also multi ranked meaning you can use it to block A/S ranked katons (keeping size and shape in mind) or just use it to increase the size and damage of the technique. It can also be used to create multiple blasts but this does decrease the damage of the technique, unless all blasts hit the target anyway. Another cool thing is that with this technique you can use a large summon. The large summon will naturally increase the size of the gunshot.

The disadvantage is that it can be decreased in damage given that it can be used in a barrage. It is also a projectile attack meaning that it is more of a 'spray and pray' technique.


To use this in battle I would use it as a quick attack at my opponents if I was in need of a projectile. Additionally I can also use it to block incoming katons. I could combine them with fuuton to increase the concussive damage. However my favorite way would be to use a large scale summon to increase the size of the technique.

"Alright, materialize water at the area you ordered your chakra to go at. A mass of water should rise up from that area, as it rises, perform shape manipulation to shape it into a column, shaped like a snake with a gaping mouth. Manipulate the snake to arc downwards and aimed towards me, which should "eat" me. The snake would disperse after eating you, turning into a river of water that would pull me along towards the direction the target is. Perform it, give me advantages, disadvantages, and because this is a supplementary-based technique, how would you use it to aid you in battle or set up combi

Jugram weaves the tiger hand seal and transforms his chakra into water chakra. He then sends it below his feet and has it rise from the ground as a pressurized jet of water. The water rushes toward the rock with the face of Adachi (Ada > u). It destroyed it very quickly, albeit with a struggle as Adachi isn't a filthy casual.

Well the advantages and disadvantages are basically the same as the previous version of this. It is a relatively quick attack and it can pierce through the ground and cut through rock fairly easily. However as you said it isn't a hard attack to dodge.

However a good combination would be to force my enemy upwards to land another much more deadly attack on them. Using this ability to manipulate where my opponent will move to can be very advantageous.


For his second jutsu Jugram weaved the Monkey β†’ Rat β†’ Tiger β†’ Dragon β†’ Horse β†’ Dragon hand seals and sent his water chakra 1 meter in front of him. Soon a torrent of water rose from the ground and was shaped into a column. At the top of the column a snake's head formed. With it he manipulated the snake down onto his senpai. It smashed into him with its mouth gaping open and turned into a massive river of water which took his senpai away with it.

Well this jutsu reminds me a lot of 44 Hand Seals no Jutsu...just with fewer hand seals. However I see a few differences. First off for an advantage you can use the jutsu to follow a target. This seems to be different than the water dragon in that the water dragon will just slam its face into the person. This jutsu can be manipulated with further chakra use which makes it very useful in attacking from different angles.

Of course the jutsu also has a disadvantage. It is a supplementary technique. It doesn't deal any damage and as such it really can only be used to displace your opponent. Though that is usually an advantage in and of itself.

In battle I'd want to use it as a conductor. I'd send my raiton chakra through it to electrocute my opponent after crashing down upon them with water.

I have one question about this technique. Can it be used as I said in the advantages? Where it can be manipulated with more concentration and chakra usage and chase down enemies and attack from different angles?

"This next one is one that i like, but don't use in battle too often. The concept of it is very simple. You create a pillar of water to rise up from below you target to imprison them. Jugram sends his sution chakra below Souji's dummy's feet. I am sorry Souji. This man is making me do this to you. Water rose up from under the dummy and using his shape manipulation transformed it into a sphere that encased Souji completely.

The immediate and obvious advantages are that it requires no hand seals and it creates its own water source. You also don't have to keep your arm inside it meaning there is no need for a clone or for you to baby sit it. This is a huge upgrade to its predecessor. And with its predecessor the victim can't move inside of it which will restrict hand seal usage and mobility.

For disadvantages the technique requires constant maintaining of chakra so you can't mold any other techniques. You can move around though and use free form to kill your opponent who is trapped inside. Or you can use a clone to use a raiton to finish them off in the water. So this pretty much compensates for that disadvantage.

For combinations I can use this to trap my opponent after forcing them into a cornered spot or by manipulating their movements. I can use an attack that will strike from multiple angles and then predict where they will retreat to and have the water prison there waiting.

Well like all streams of water this can be used to defend against large scale fire techniques (within proper rank of course). The clash will also create quite a bit of steam which can be easily used to disguise yourself. You can also move your head as you release the stream allowing you to follow enemy movement and adjust the target as necessary.

For some disadvantages. The technique is a stream (so unique ya ya :|). So you can't use any other jutsu unless you have a clone present on the field.

For combinations I would use it to force my opponent to use a doton. With them defending themselves with a doton I would use a powerful and fast raiton to break through their doton and kill them. The raiton would be disguised behind the stream of water if done properly even after stopping the stream. This is because the stream still will take a few seconds to fall to the surface or hit the target before allowing sight with the user again.

Once you do that, send it outwards around your body making your body compatible with water. Step into the water source which would allow you to seemingly 'step inside' the water and simply blend in. It would look like the normal water source, but in reality, you would be inside it. Pretty neat, huh? Anyways, feel free to ask question as it was a pretty confusing technique. Blend in with the water source and give me advantages and disadvantages and how you would use it strategically in battle. You can perform this on even small water sources like puddles, but nothing less than the size of puddles. Jugram focuses his suiton chakra and sends it 10 meters above the training dummies that his senpai had laid out in front of him. He unleashed the mass of water and dropped it on the dummies, crushing them under the sheer weight and mass of the water. It didn't require any shape transformation as it was just a mass of water.

Well for advantages. The technique is a quick slam of the hands on the ground to drop a ton of water on the opponent. It can cover multiple targets and the size of it makes it difficult to escape from since it covers a good portion of mid range.

For disadvantages. Well it is 10 meters up so it will take a second to get down and gives your opponent a chance to counter and defend themselves. This can be compensated by disabling your opponent with something that binds them or causes paralysis.

I would use it in combat by blinding them or paralyzing them with a raiton and then immediately dropping this mass of water on them.


For the next technique Jugram walks back onto the water source. He begins to send his raw chakra to his tenketsu while at the same time applying nature transformation to change that chakra into suiton chakra. He then sends his chakra out of his tenketsu and makes his body compatible with the water. He then steps into the water and blends in.

For advantages this technique is great to use against non sensors/dojutsu users. It allows you to disguise yourself and avoid techniques that are huge in range.

For disadvantages of course you can't use this against dojutsu users or sensors. It will easily show your position since you are just disguised in a puddle of chakra. Additionally you can't use this to avoid raiton as you will be very very very vulnerable to raitons. It will conduct right through you and make it impossible to reform (assuming it doesn't kill you anyway). And of course this technique requires a water source to work.

For combat I can use this to avoid a lot of jutsu as well as use it to position myself for a surprise attack. I can't use this of course to dodge a raiton. A lot of its uses are similar to hiding like a mole. However there has to be a water source.

Well senpai this technique has a huge amount of advantages. First off you can move quickly to your opponents location while riding the massive wave. Second you are able to create a huge amount of water and creates a wave spanning many meters. This makes it a somewhat difficult technique to avoid with simple jutsu to dodge it. The wave will crash down on opponents and uses its sheer mass and force to crush them. A direct hit will kill with this technique. Additionally it'll create a water source for future water jutsu.

There are a few disadvantages as well. Its a giant water wave and as such is vulnerable to raiton. If you're still standing on it or expelling the water when a raiton hits you then it is pretty much game over. The water takes a few seconds to fully form as well and is not instantaneous.

For combinations and attacks I'd use this to create a water source primarily to use other attacks. I wouldn't want to blindly charge at my enemy, especially if they use raiton as their mastery.


Jugram sends his accumulated water chakra and releases it into the clouds above causing rain to fall in a huge quantity. The rain quickly accumulates and causes waves to sweep his senpai off his feet.

This technique is great for knocking your opponent off balance and overwhelming him. It will also drain the chakra right out of them as it continues down on them. And the best part is (at least my understanding from reading it) is it is free to maintain and will drain -50 chakra from them per turn. 50 chakra is huge in a battle. It counts as a forbidden rank technique's worth of chakra and can make the difference if a battle drags on.

This technique can easily be stopped by a Rain Element master as they can stop rain with a single hand seal. It is also still weak to doton and can easily be guarded against by a B-rank or higher element.

In battle I would use this to control and manipulate my opponent's movements and make it difficult for them to get around on the battlefield. While they can use doton to defend against it it makes it extremely hard for them to move leaving them very open to a raiton.

From both palms, extend it outwards towards your target and release a spiralling torrent of water that would spiral around each other, creating a fairly large stream-based technique from your hand, making it a better 'stream' based technique than your average stream, i guess. Keep in mind this only extends up to short-range, so it is a good technique for enemies who attempt to engage in close combat, and like most water techniques, this relies on the water elements' brute force o deal the damage." Tobirama creates yet another clone made of water in front of the student, about three meters. "Perform it towards my clone to push him meters back, which would also cause him to disperse. Well this technique is pretty cool. It is a quick protection against close range attacks like taijutsu, kenjutsu, and close range ninjutsu as well as longer range ninjutsus. Since all you have to do is stab your sword into the ground you don't have to weave any hand seals.

One should becareful. Their sword will be in the ground and as such it makes them twice as vulnerable to raiton attacks. If the water is hit by lightning they will possibly be shocked. If the ground is hit with lightning and sent through it with a current they will get shocked through their sword.

I would use this as a defensive and offensive technique. It can be used to block jutsu and freeform coming toward you which makes it very quick for a quick instant defense. And I would do my best to time it properly so they would have their body hit by the jutsu if they are using freeform to inflict damage.


Jugram channels his chakra into his hand...AGAIN :|. The most unique technique was about to happen. He was about to unleash water from his palm. It had never happened before :|. Suddenly a torrent of spiraling water flew from his palm.

Seriously? :|

This technique is great as it requires no hand seals and is a quick easy close range defense and offense. It can be used to blast away projectiles, intercept freeform, and other close range jutsu within elemental weaknesses and strengths.

So...its a blast of water from the palm :|. One would need to be wary of raiton as raiton are extremely quick and can potentiall shock the water while it is still being unleashed from the hand.

Um. I'd use it like any other suiton palm blast :| :| :| :| :|

No but seriously I'd use this primarily to get a quick blast on my opponent when they enter close range so I can defend against freeform, taijutsu, etc.

Jugram channels his suiton chakra into both of his hands and unleash two torrents of spiraling water from both surrounding his target and colliding causing it to spin out of control and take high blunt damage.

I'll start off with advantages. So yes, as you have said it is a double spiraling stream as it is released from both hands. So what this does is if both hit your opponent it will easily spin them off their footing. This is better than a straight forward stream of water as they lose balance and focus as well as take direct blunt damage. Since it is close range you can only use it on anyone with 5 meters. However this is okay. This is actually an advantage to the technique. Since it requires no hand seals and just the need to stick out both hands you can easily use this to catch an enemy unprepared. And a cool way to use this would be as a stream that can displace your own position if you aim it at the ground!

For disadvantages. This can be used against you. If a raiton connects with it and you are still unleashing the stream you can easily be electrocuted. Since raiton is faster than suiton it would make it hard to dodge, especially considering you are unleashing the stream. Which means you are very very vulnerable to a close range raiton.

To use this in battle I would try to post it as my first move so it always goes through. This way it leaves very small opening for my enemy to use a raiton. I would also use this to give myself a good blast of water to displace my own location and move me away from my enemy. Or I could use it to intercept attacks.

"And the last B-rank water technique!" Tobirama announces enthusiastically as he pitches in another training dummy, with the face of Sodachi. "Alright. Perform nature chakra on your normal chakra to change the nature of it into the properties of water. Gather it in one of your hand with with a hand movement, create an arc. As you create the arc, release the water chakra in the form of water whilst using shape manipulation to shape it into a cresent blade, which would be shaped depending on the arc you created with the hand movement. This technique relies on the brute force it exerts when it makes contact with a target, so it won't necessarily pierce them despite its shape. You can strike an enemy at different angles, depending on the arc you create with hand motions, from the side, from above, from the other side, etc. And, by swirling around on your foot, you can create a cresent-shaped blade to erupt from your hand as you are swirling to attack the enemy if you are surrounded. Perform it on the Sodachi training dummy and create an arc with your hand movement to hit the training dummy on its head. Give me advantages and disadvantages afterwards, and how you would use it offensively in battle!"

Jugram focused his spiritual and physical energies causing them to mold together to create chakra. With this chakra he then used nature manipulation to form it into suiton chakra and then sent it down his arm and into his hand where he released it. Using shape manipulation he used the released chakra to form an orb of water. Then using further shape manipulation he caused 3 spears of water to erupt from it. One aimed directly at the clone's face. The second would come and hit the clone's left ribcage while the third would hit the right hamstring.

So I'll start off with advantages. First off this technique is great for distractions and multiple angle attacks. Both of which can give you huge advantages over your opponent. The multiple directions will allow you to use multiple spears to attack at different points on their body. So as I used in my example above I attacked not only the clone's face but I also hit the ribcage and the right hamstring. If any of these made contact the sheer brute force of the technique would easily tear the hamstring (causing extreme pain to walk), break the ribs (making it hard to breath and possibly puncturing an organ), and of course cause massive damage to the face and block eyesight. So the enemy would have to defend against all of these. This would put them on the defensive and allow me to press them and keep them from attacking me. Of course one has to remember that when using multiple spears the attack power of each is not B-Rank. Three spears would each have the power of C-Rank (I believe this is the case as it was stated in the interactions thread that the higher rank is chosen).

So for disadvantages. The most obvious one is that this is a streaming technique and as such you can't weave any techniques. This is unless you have a clone on the field of course. In that case you are able to weave two attacks at once at greater speeds. I'm having a hard time coming up with more for this :(.

So for combinations I would do as I did above. I would really want to target muscles with this. Brute force damage can easily tear muscles and cause some pretty bad injuries. Even if it doesn't kill my opponent I can still easily limit their mobility.


Jugram once again focused his suiton chakra into his left dominant hand. With it he creates an arc above his head forming a crescent blade shaped water arc. Jugram then swings his hand down toward the dummy straight forward causing the arc of water to collide with the dummy.

Cool technique :3. So the first part is that it is very versatile in its use. You can create a a blade over to, to your side, all around you, etc. It is all up to the imagination. The next point is that you can use these to attack anywhere in short to mid range. So they can be used to intercept a taijutsu user, or used to hit someone at a bit of a distance. It is a very versatile technique. I especially love that the technique can hit multiple targets around you making it a great defense against clones. It requires no hand seals making it pretty quick to form.

For disadvantages. Well to begin with they are arcs. They aren't walls. So they can't really defend you against large scale attacks. If a large scale A rank katon hits you, even though technically the water should be able to disperse it, the katon would be too big to be fully taken care of by the water. So it is very important to keep size and shape in mind with this technique.

In combat I would want to primarily use this in close range since it is so quick and versatile. There are better water techniques to use for mid range. But in close range you can easily use this to intercept taijutsu attacks and close range katons. Additionally it can be used to kill off multiple targets and clones. The damage would necessarily kill them but with good descriptions and placement one can easily cause serious damage to muscles and organs with the sheer brute force of this technique.

"Fantastic job. now onto A-ranks. By the end of A-ranks, i'd like to battle you, just to make sure you're learning all these properly. I'd do it now, but I don't see enough versatility in the B-rank techniques since most of them were repetitive. Anyways, A-ranks naturally require more nature transformation and shape manipulation, something that we've been practicing for quite some time." Tobirama starts to walk towards a lake, a large lake that would provide the two with a large water source. He then tells the student the long list of hand seals required for the powerful technique, and performs it himself to set as an example. "Alright, this technique is going to be the first 'advance ninjutsu' technique you'll learn, In the Water element at least. Perform the required hand seals that we went over, and as you do that, muster up an enormous amount of your chakra and perform nature transformation to change the nature of your chakra into the properties of water. Once you do that, channel the water chakra into the lake, and manipulate the large amount of water available to create a ring of water in front of you with the use of shape manipulation. Once the ring has been made, manipulate the water from the water source to add onto the ring and have the ring extend outwards, resembling an extremely large torrent of water. Send it out towards your target and as it makes contact, manipulate it to rise up, about several dozen meters up in the sky. Once you've reached that height, have it collapse downwards, pushing the enemy down to the ground in which he'd experience massive damage to the body and bones. Alright perform it on the clone over there, twenty five meters away. Keep in mind this technique has a humongous reach and it is pretty fast, so it shouldnt be too difficult. Attack that dummy and lift it up in the air, and have the torrent collaps downwards in which it would create a large crater and massive waves upon crashing down. Furthermore, this technique relies on the brute force that it exerts, so a direct hit may be fatal. Perform it and give me advantages, disadvantages, and how you would use this in battle offensively! The aftermath should resemble the effects of a natural disaster. Alternatively, you can exhale from your mouth that amount of water but i personally prefer using the water source."

Description: After doing the needed hand seals Tiger β†’ Ox β†’ Monkey β†’ Rabbit β†’ Ram β†’ Boar β†’ Ox β†’ Horse β†’ Monkey β†’ Tiger β†’ Dog β†’ Tiger β†’ Snake β†’ Tiger β†’ Ox β†’ Monkey β†’ Rabbit β†’ Bird, the user will form a gigantic vortex of water in the form of a ring in front of him. It will then shoot a gigantic torrent of water that extends water over a large scale, surges upon impact and rises up to several dozen meters high only to collapse down, forming massive waves all around as it does. The effect is such that as its collapsing it resembles a waterfall, hence the name of the technique. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra. The normal use of the technique requires a water source which is manipulated into the technique but some users have shown the ability to use the technique as a water stream exhaled from the mouth and forming more of a gigantic barrage/stream/wave of water rather than the more intricate and complex use of the main application of the technique.
Note: Can be used with a water source or by using one's own chakra to exhale the technique without the need for a water source nearby.
