No they were just saying that Luffy had 2 very famous brothers. Just because they say Ace is strong doesn't mean that they think Luffy is weaker. Besides, the Marines haven't even seen Luffy fight Post TS.

Luffy is definitely on Ace's level. But not too clear who would win. Ace's anly real fight was vs BB who was the kryptonite of anyone too dependent on his DF. Anyway, if I had to pick a winner, I'd go with Luffy.

Not really sure who would win. Im more towards ace tho. We didnt see his full power and this luffy is faster than ace point is just pointless. By that logic luffy is faster than Akainu and WB and Kuzan and Garp and a whole load of people.

When DR started and we found out Dofy was going to be the next villain I said that if Luffy beats Dofy and he gets a bounty similar to ace that is when Luffy will become as strong as Ace ... i still stand by that
