Since when is fighting someone and losing a feat? BB at MF with the Gura and Yami said he wasn't even strong enough to fight Shanks, so Shanks was either very weak back then or BB used some underhanded method to scar Shanks. Luffy has one of the best speed in the series while in G2 and pretty good CoO. None of Ace's attacks are fast enough to hit Luffy. One chop from BB almost broke Ace's neck. Imagine what Elephant Gatling would do.

gear second is overrated,jinbei could stop a full charging luffy in gear second ,and we know that ace is probably stronger/faster than jinbei. having a big fist in one piece means nothing Elephant Gatling can easily be blocked by someone who has a better haki control

Oh well, my mistake. Although my point was still valid as it was. And it isn't like Ace won't do anything to counter it, his entei can pretty much take out Luffy along with his EGG.

actually if you read teh manga you will see that it appears that a large part of that fight was skipped, we go from starting blows to some villagers commenting how the fight isn't normal because the island was literally crumbling to some panels indicating some time passed to Ace on his hands and knees

after that we just get the island wide explosion, clearly showing us the Yami Yami isn't just useful against DFs

also note that Burgess, the guy who tanked a punch from Garp, was ordered to retreat and not get involved int he fight

The only Shichibukai that can compete with Yonkous is Mihawk. The rest get low diffed if they're lucky. How can you overrate Ace so easily when we have so little to base upon?

stupidity we know that ace was at least on par with jinbei at the age of 17, aldo ace won that fight because he still got energy to stand up and fight whitebeard ,you're going to tell me with a straight face that he didn't progress after 5 years ?

In fairness Ace was always physically strong stronger than Luffy even so him matching up with Jimbei in strength without CoA isn't that shocking. However I don't think Ace had the ability to use CoA otherwise he'd have been able to beat Smoker back in the Alabasta arc.

To be honest I had to check myself it's just it felt weird that Burgess could tank one of Garps hits that was able to knock Marco down.

Ace was a Logia, so in Paradise he didn't need to learn Haki since no one could beat him there. Shortly after he entered the NW he joined the WB Pirates, and no one is stupid enough to attack them so he didn't need to learn Haki to protect himself. Stop making stuff up in your head just because you want your fav to win.

Combine gears is a fanfic at this point. EG did destroyed half of noah which itself was less than half of fishman island. Again, EGG's strength is in it's repetition, repeating the punches again and again. But if Entei and EGG were to collide, in that instant EGG won't have that advantage and it would be between a few punches from Luffy's EG and Entei. You can say Entei has higher 'one shotting ability' than EGG. So much that Ace wouldn't need to repeat the attack.

Pretty good? Look at your sig, that's how Ace does against top tiers. The only admiral that wouldn't no diff Ace is Aokiji since he has an elemental disadvantage.

Funny, I could have sworn he used it at TB. Entei has some casting time, so Luffy just has to go into G2 and hit him before he can use it. Also, CoA provides fire resistance since Luffy didn't even show any signs of pain when he used Red Hawk. Entei could only cover 1/4 of a very small island. They more or less have the same destructive power.
