A Retake on Minato

After the anime I'm convinced that Minato might be even stronger than i thought.

I don't see how an inferior uchiha could beat Minato. Minato beat Tobi the first time they had met. Itachi, with all his background knowledge about Tobi, didn't even dare to challange him. Tobi, the same guy who controlled Yagura with a genjutsu.

Anyway *yawn*, this is my final post in this thread. Intentionally created a thread and went in detail in order to save me trouble from arguing. Not that i havent gotten bored of this subject.

However itachi is going to get greater feats healthy, against kabuto therefore i might implement the other ninjutsu's and feats he shows us. Itachi's true potential anyone?

Seems like he doesnt suffer the same weaknesses as when he was sick.
Seems healthy to me, not that his feats unhealthy isnt impressive already U_U

Hmm, it's true what blaze said about not being able to dodge Amaterasu without having eye contact and this then leading to him being caught by tsukuyomi......

However this begs the question; how will Itachi be able to deal with the FTG rasengan combo? Because I doubt Minato has many drawn out fights; as soon as the fight begins wouldn't he spam FTG and rasengan. I doubt Itachi has an effective counter for this because I don't think he could get Susanoo out fast enough....

Just my honest opinion.

I was just amazed at the ease at which he removed the TBB from the battlefield. What was that technique called? Was it a variation of FTG?

It was a variation of FTG, only he doesn't use it on himself. Yeah, I don't think this would be a fair fight in anyway. If Minato gets Itachi where he wants him, he's done for. Vice versa for Itachi.

Let me make sure everyone understands im not an itachi hater but i believe 9 times out of 10 minato will win....he is a bad matchup for itachi...Just like itachi one shoted Oro..Oro would give the fourth hell.....BUt just like today's anime... in the same situation itachi dies without accomplishing half of what the 4th did

You part of my fan base?. Anyway come on, its make sense to say itachi is going to get more feats against kabuto and since he doesnt suffer from his illness it seems, what i said isnt out of reach. There are however bigger itachi fans on the base, i like to think im in a different category to them though

Out of them all ill say an 11-13 year old itachi not only defeating the man who was going to become the 4th hokage, the manner in which he stayed calm, defeated him with ease, cut his off then insulted him after. Current minato would have trouble defeating oro, let alone the same manner itachi did at such a young age.

Ill link you the reaction of kakashi when he saw oro, then ill link you the reaction of 11- 13 year old itachi's reaction.

finally someone with feats and facts about the manga.
while minato fanboys keep spamming 1 jutsu and only talk about his hype and etc but when it comes to facts and feats and abilities then itachi takes this seriously guys dont fool yourself.

Not sure why minato fans have started to crawl from the shadows again with the latest anime release. We already saw what happened in the manga U_U

Ok fair enough xd. Well I don't want to start a huge vs. thread battle like what always happens but I think that Itachi wins if he catches Minato in a genjutsu. If he can't or doesn't do it then Minato will win a ninjutsu and taijutsu battle.

The reason being is that all of Itachi's attacks are too slow to hit Minato.

Amaterasu was dodged by A at point blank range easily and Minato dodged A, so logically he can dodge Amaterasu.

As for the Totsuka sword I know that is too slow to hit Minato with.

What I think would happen though is if Itachi were fully ready for a fight with Minato he would use genjutsu off the bat and then seal him or use Amaterasu to kill him, anything else gives Minato a chance to survive it depending on how quickly he can break the genjutsu and use FTG.

i think its kinda inaccurate to make itach vs minato threads because we never really seen the best potentional out of both.
