A Retake on Minato

Ok fair enough xd. Well I don't want to start a huge vs. thread battle like what always happens but I think that Itachi wins if he catches Minato in a genjutsu. If he can't or doesn't do it then Minato will win a ninjutsu and taijutsu battle.

The reason being is that all of Itachi's attacks are too slow to hit Minato.

Amaterasu was dodged by A at point blank range easily and Minato dodged A, so logically he can dodge Amaterasu.

As for the Totsuka sword I know that is too slow to hit Minato with.

What I think would happen though is if Itachi were fully ready for a fight with Minato he would use genjutsu off the bat and then seal him or use Amaterasu to kill him, anything else gives Minato a chance to survive it depending on how quickly he can break the genjutsu and use FTG.

Dont want to start this again, but you see the reason A was able to dodge is because he saw sasuke's eyes. If minato tries gai's counter, he would suffer amaterasu regardless of his speed. If he decides to look at his eyes, he would evade amaterasu but tsukuyomi will get him.

Itachi doesn't have Tsukuyomi constantly active. And as far as I can tell he can't use both Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi at the same time.

DIdnt say he had tsukuyomi active nor did i say he can use amaterasu and tsukuyomi at the same time. All im saying is that if the fight starts and minato fights as normal and keep eye contact, then we all know what happens.

If he tries gai's counter. He doenst look at itachi's eyes and i need not tell you that you cannot evade something you cannot see; amaterasu.

This off course if minato bypasses a genjutsu duel (oro, deidora, naruto, sasuke)

Ok there have been alot of debates on the topic of who can take out Minato....of course you've got your Itachi FB's and your sasuke FB's...but now that you've finally seen Minato in action; FTG ,his base speed,and on the fly battle tactics would anyone would like to change sides and bow down to Yondaime Hokage....yes im saying Minato>Itachi

it could go either way but if you look at feats itachi has more chance to win the battle.

And this is where i find the only flaw...because it comes down to alot what if's it cant be determined how they will be positioned initially when the fight starts....because lets say Minato knows nothing of itachis abilities...but this fight is after him fighting tobi...because that was the first time he faced a sharingan user i would imagine he would immediately go on the offensive due to his experience with tobi....and if he does that...FTG to mark him but that would be pintless due to susanoo......but by that happening itachi runs out of chakra leaving him vunerable because he wont be able to seal minato

This isnt based off of feats this isnt that type of debate but if you wanna go that route did you see todays anime...In the same situation itachi dies tobi escapes and the fox is left unsealed

At first, I thought, Lol, no way! But I thought about it and I'm like, maybe so! I mean, Itachi COULD try Tsukyomi, but I'm pretty sure Minato could slip out of it. The FTG just has too many advantages for evasion. AND plus, Minato knows a lot of seals. I think it would be a good, and probably long battle, but eventually, I think Minato would win.

Because for some people to actually see the scene fully animated helps them comprehend the range of certain jutsu or attack

amaterasu isnt istantaneous and,im pretty sure minato would notice the blood from his eye.You cant forget Itachi isnt as proficient with amaterasu as sasuke

We still haven't even seen everything Minato's capable of. He was said to have a ton of sealing jutsu and he was planning on adding his own elemental chakra to the rasengan so I'm sure he had elemental jutsu as well. It's hard to debate about Minato when we haven't seen everything he's capable of.

well actually there was no clear diffrence in the manga/anime lol.
the chances of itachi winning are a lil more higher then minato's ^^.

Anyway *yawn*, this is my final post in this thread. Intentionally created a thread and went in detail in order to save me trouble from arguing. Not that i havent gotten bored of this subject.

However itachi is going to get greater feats healthy, against kabuto therefore i might implement the other ninjutsu's and feats he shows us. Itachi's true potential anyone?
