He wouldn't be on hashirama's level but he'd be about early kage level. The fact is most characters have moves that will penetrate the body meaning his head can get penetrated. Also lets not forget that he can regenerate bones that doesn't mean skin. Take for instance his arm gets chopped off, he can grow the bone back, but his skin will be gone and thus that arm will be useless.

Neji could also attack from a distance using vacuum palm and has the fastest handspeed in the manga next to gai himself using morning peacock. Im sure that he would eventually land some hits which would inevitably slow Kimmi down considerably.

Also, about the comment of gai not being able to match him in taijutsu, he can use the gates to move arguably about as fast as the raikages and with even greater power. Kimmis bones are considered virtually indestructible against regular taijutsu because there is no natural way to destroy them, since they are created to be as strong as possible, but im sure that someone who uses super powerful taijutsu, like the raikages or guy would be able to break his bones or at least cause serious internal damage from the impact of their blows.

Kimi also has the CM1 and CM2 For extra chakra if need be. Vacume palm is a good mid distance move, but nothing compared too what kimi can use from long/mid distance.

Kimi would tank every attack guy would think of using! Guy hasnt shown an attack that could comepletely destroy kimi. His healing abilities are on another level! Even after being crushed under the earth he was not detoured and kept pushing on! Guys Taijutsu stands no chance against him. The raikages use Nin-taijutsu and if anything would out last him or something along those lines. There Taijutsu just like gais wouldnt be enough to get the job done. Anything that gets broken will get healed or replace sadly.. lol

The inertia/momentum from the impact of the punches would be what causes internal damage. Kisame wasn't harmed much on the outside, but he still was hurt badly enough on the inside where he couldn't move but one finger. The pressure damage caused by gaaras sand is different because pressure damage and damage caused by momentum and inertia are different. The Pressure damage that Gaara did is caused by compressing the entire body from all sides. Impact damage is caused by high velocity impact with an object. His bones might be super strong, but it still carries over any sort of force applied against it as does any object and that would be what destroys his insides.
