Not really. As long as the min. amount of gates required for a technique opened, that technique can be used.

For ex. Lee's reverse lotus is orginally a 3rd gate tech but Lee used it at 5th gate:

You are talking about the front lotus. The reverse lotus is a technique used in the 5th gate.

Things have escalated... so it seems.

Indeed.

Extreme lotus = reverse lotus.

Top left panel, Gai's second speech bubble. He says a person enters in extreme lotus in 3rd gate.

It may be a translation error, because the front and reverse lotus are two different techniques. One is used in the 3rd and the other in the 5th gate.

Front lotus is the first gate technique.

Gai and Lee say extreme lotus for 5th gate:

(I already showed Gai saying one can enter extreme lotus in 3rd gate)

Inital/front lotus refer the same techs in different translations. Reverse/extreme/hidden lotus refer the same tech in diffeeent translations.

. . Lee did not , and he only to perform the two of the Reverse Lotus.

If Gai wants to use morning peacock in the 7th gate then he only uses more energy and injures his body more, making his Hirudora weaker.

Gai solos.

-Kisame did not take the brunt of Hirudora's attack power, as some guys above me already explained......
-Too fast for Tsunade and Sakura to hit him, given how he pushed back JJ madara for a little while.
- Hirudora blew open a v3 Susanoo, so unless Tsunade/Sakura's durability is far above a v3 Susanoo(roughly around a v4 Susanoo's durability), they get turned into maroon paste, especially since Gai can output damage at a faster rate than they can heal.
-Gai stayed in the 8th gate for quite some time against Rikudo Madara(longer than the sages conversation) and also used Hirudora while exhausted against Madara. So stamina isn't an issue.
-EVEN IF Tsunade/Sakura somehow heal from the damage of Gai's onslaught, a man like him should be smart enough to fall back of decapitation.(after all, even gated Lee skillfully used a kunai in the Madara fight)

So Gai wins mid to high diff I think.

These Tsunade and Sakura fans think that the duo have durability of V3 susanoo XD

The hirudora Gai used on Madara would annihilate tsunade and sakura.

But with even more power it could not kill Kisame and water as protection. Katsuyu is more than enough + Tsunade's regeneration. Yeah Hiurdora is countered.

Gai didn't want to kill Kisame. Full powered Hirudora blew a V3 susanoo of Madara.

Forget about Kisame. Gai was holding back in that time.

This is what happens when Gai doesn't hold back.

And this is a video to complement

Have you seen the AOE? Do you want us to believe Tsunade can tank something like this? Katsuyu will be split in million pieces because Hirudora is a concentrated attack unlike Shinra Tensei

Neither Sakura or Tsunade can tank anything on the level of V3 susanoo. Gai is massively faster than Tsunade and Sakura, he will murder them before they can do anything. Speedblitz GG

I didnt want to downplay Hiurdora but destroying the susano wasnt that big of a feat. He destroyed , same version that Onoki and Ay blew . Yes Gai was weakened but the stronger Hirudora which he used against Kisame, still didnt kill Kisame.

Yes. You now realized Gai was weakened. But he owned a susanoo, which Onoki and Raikage combined their efforts to take down. Raikage is on the same level as Tsunade overall, while Onoki is far superior to Tsunade. Still a weakened Gai's power was the the same as their combined effort

Gai has been shown to be leagues above the likes of Tsunade by portrayal and hype. In 8th gate, he surpasses every single kage. Gai is as strong as MS Kakashi, if not stronger. The way he beat a kage level opponent like Kisame in Kisame's own turf is enough proof how strong Gai is.

Yes, it took 2 Kage to combine their attacks together in order to blow just a hole through susano'o; meanwhile exhausted Gai alone obliterated the whole thing. Not a big feat.

Tsunade fans are ridiculous.

I'm not acting like nothing. I'm presenting you what occured in the manga, but apparently Morning Peacock killing someone as durable as Kisame somehow equates to the punches not being that damaging. So if the manga doesn't for whatever reason beyond me, hold enough weight, then I'll bring out the DB which seems to be serviceable for you.

A deadly technique; Only a fiery death comes to those struck by it. But I'm acting like the punches are that damaging, right? Just as you mentioned in that DB scan concerning Katsuyu, the hype isn't featless with Morning Peacock. It one shotted someone as incredibly durable and pain resistant as Kisame; which I have no problem showcasing by providing manga scans. Once again and for the final time, sure generation will take place, but Tsunade has never gotten hit consecutively 30+ times within a second or two for minutes time or until Gai's stamina runs out. Essentially, by the time Byakugou heals Tsunade from a few punches (Because it isn't nearly as instant as Gai's strikes), she has already taken damage from like 10+ more. In addition to that, she's getting engulfed in flames strong enough to evaporate suiton techniques.

I already explained, regeneration happens immediately so she will never be taking all the damage at once. I also explained she doesnt need to wait for regeneration to finish before attacking seeing how she was moving with her spine destroyed. This only shows you that her body is in a upgraded form where injuries dont matter as they get regenerated. It wont be pretty but her body heals the charred skin. She is simply taking fire, she has already shown to easily take fire.

This is how I know you're full of bullshit. All you see is Gai kicking into it? It's not even visible. The red line runs along the 4 toes, which is clearly distinguishable, with the middle 3 appearing to of taken some damage. The pinky toe isn't visible because Gai clearly smashed it into the ground, which explains why rocks and debris are flying everywhere. If Gai had just stubbed it as you claim, then it's pinky would of been visible and positioned along the rest of the Mazou's toes, Gai wouldn't be appearing to be smashing the ground, and debris wouldn't be flying everywhere. Again, flagrant denial and refusal to accept whats clearly happening for Tsunades sake.

Its so simply. You can push your toes past the others without them moving. Try it, push your pinky down and you will see the toes are staying up where they are. Which is what is happening here, Gai pushed the toe into the ground, that does not mean it was smashed.

Gai can go straight into the 7th gate and use Morning Peacock. She doesn't even get a chance from the moment Gai strikes. And I'm not quite sure how this translates into Katsuyu tanking Hirudora (assuming Gai for some odd reason fires it at her)... two different techniques and CT isn't focused on one point like Hirudora is. If Gai who was exhausted past the ability to even stand up on his own could conjure up just enough energy for a final Hirudora strong enough to obliterate a V3 susano'o and put someone like Madara, who is durable on his own, out of commission for more then an entire chapter; I have no reason to believe Katsuyu can simply tank this. As then were essentially saying Katsuyu's durability is far above that of a V3 susano'o+Madara, which doesn't make any sense, especially considering the fact that Manda was literally about to pop her with it's strength before she was forced to split up. And if Katsuyu ever splits up into hundreds of her mini's, then Morning Peacock incinerates.

If he wants to use morning peacock in the 7th gate, he only uses more energy and his body gets more damage which will only make his hirudora weaker. I have already explained why destroying the susano isnt a great feat. Base Madara doesnt have any durability that I know of. She is a squishy substance so of course she is going to blow a little is someone squeezes, but the thing to take away is she wasnt effected at all by the the Manda. Katsuyu comes out once Gai opens the 7th gate. Hirudora is tanked and Gai is weakened.

It was a simply punch from Ay and it blew a hole in. Only shows that version of Susano is not that durable and Hirudora destroying it not being a big feat.

But again even the strongest Hirudora Gai has shown still could not kill Kisame.

Gai med diff.

Regeneration means nothing when they don't have the durability to take Gai's attacks.
He is much faster, has better reactions and can touch them anytime he wants while neither Sakura or Tsunade can touch him.

Hirudora obliterated v3 Susanoo and has similar output to Rasenshuriken
if not bigger so them taking it it's a joke. Gai blitzes and blast Hirudora on their faces.

Lol. THe fact is Ay couldn't do the same thing on his own, and Onoki and raise or decrease mass of things by substantial amount. Gai repeated a better feat while exhausted

Kisame didn't die because he wasn't supposed to die. Gai kept him alive. THat was his mission. If Tsunade was in the position of Kisame, she would get the same treatment as Kisame. Alive but incapacitated

You dont realize that if Gai wasnt using his full power he could have died himself. He had no idea Hirudora would have pushed through Kisame's attack. He needed to make his attack strong enough to push past Kisame's attack and hurt Kisame. So this arguement of Gai not using his full strength is BS. You can grab intel from a dead body anyway, essentially why Kisame had his body eaten by sharks.

Gai didn't intend to kill kisame. YOur argument of hirudora not killing kisame is really silly, because Guy never wanted to kill kIsame in the first place. His mission was to capture kisame and bring out intel, and he did manage to capture Kisame. Kisame committed suicide out of loyalty to akatsuki

Tsunade is weaker than Kisame by a large margin. Gai can beat most of Akatsuki including Itachi on his own, and Pain with intel

Tsunade's regen helps her stay alive, it won't help her in 1 on 1 battle against a massively faster enemy who can 1 shot V3 susanoo in weakened state

Regeneration initates immediately, it doesn't completely heal her instantly or not even nearly as fast as Gai can strike. Tsunade isn't ever, at any point, landing a hit on Gai as long as he has enough stamina to walk. So what's your point? Her purpose in this fight is to be a punching bag with hopes and dreams in enduring it all. And she isn't simply taking fire; unlike any scenario in the manga, her whole body will be ignited, with no real viable way of putting the fire out until it goes out itsself.

Its so simply. You can push your toes past the others without them moving. Try it, push your pinky down and you will see the toes are staying up where they are. Which is what is happening here, Gai pushed the toe into the ground, that does not mean it was smashed.

The 3 middle toes are completely pushed into the ground, with absolutely zero trace of the pinky even being there. So not really. You know what, not even worth the argument. The mere fact that Gai exerted so much force that he pushed nearly the entire front of the Mazo's foot in the ground so deep that rocks and debri flew up doesn't help your case at all; as BM Chouji's butterfly bomb punch could barely just push the Mazo back. This still flattens Tsunades head.

If he wants to use morning peacock in the 7th gate, he only uses more energy and his body gets more damage which will only make his hirudora weaker. Lol? Gai was going in and out of the gates throughout the entire war. Even used Morning Peacock to hold the fully transformed 6 tails back, and was still going no problem. The mere fact that he was able to use Hirudora when he had absolutely nothing left in him means that using a single Morning Peacock isn't going to drain him or weaken his Hirudora as significantly as you want to believe. You're desperate attempt and explanation at downgrading Gai's feat doesn't change the fact that he accomplished way more while exhausted past the point of even standing up on his own, then 2 well rested Kage; who had to use a compilation attack just to punch a mere hole through it. Her supposedly impeccable well above v3 susano'o level defenses shouldn't of allowed her to be squeezed past the point of exploding, regardless. Katsuyu has great resistance towards specific styles of attacks; but not everything. Certainly not something like Hirudora, or Morning Peacock if she splits. Even if Tsunade gets enough time to summon Katsuyu before Gai blitzes her, it doesn't change a thing. Soon as she's summoned, Gai is already unleashing his onslought on Tsunade and Katsuyu can't do a thing about it.
