What are you talking about? This CONFIRMS that Naruto is holding back/stalling and DOESNT want to kill sasuke..

^^^^^^^^^^this. Color scans from WSJ posted n another thread also show he absolutely dodged suckske's attack. Suckske is going all out and Naruto counters him easily without breaking a sweat. Even with Kishimoto holding Naruto back in the fight and making suckske's jutsu's inconsistently more powerful than they are, it is obvious Naruto is capable of leveling suckske.

Is there any specific reason for him to stall sasuke in a 1 vs 1 fight? :leaf: Is he waiting for someone to come and aid him to fight sasuke? Stalling is when he played with kaguya until sasuke arrived but in this case it's a straightforward holding back. He said he doesn't want to kill sasuke meanwhile sasuke stated he has killing intent. Anyway, you are simply assuming that naruto is stalling sasuke. Him waiting for other bijuu's to gather chakra for him does not equate to stalling, atleast not in his case. Naruto's BM is doing just fine against PS, he's just defending, not even showing half of the power of BM. It's pretty clear that he doesn't need other beasts power to fight sasuke. His BM alone equals current sasuke's PS pretty easily. Full powered RSM will be an overkill.

Still obito tried to kill naruto several times during the war. If naruto hadn't entered BM then he would have been done for. It's naruto's resolve that made obito change his mind that's the only reason why obito started to test his resolve, not to mention he failed.

Agreed, but in this case it's not. Sasuke's resolve is strong, if it wasn't then he wouldn't even think about starting so called revolution, would he? He outright claimed that naruto is the last offer to itachi's death. Also according to him, he doesn't need naruto to dispel IT. To conclude, he doesn't need naruto at all, if anything he sees him as a useless person. He's fed up with current system and willing to massacre goakge's as well. what you failed to notice is what every reasonable person has seen: Naruto went into that mode with the intention of sensing where Sasuke's attempt at a sneak atk was going to come from, not to survive the fireball. It was obvious he knew that fireball was a distraction; like he hasn't fought enough Uchiha to know what they primarily use that jutsu for by now.
