When chidori just like rasengan touches someone even slightly then it is not possible to stop or avoid it.For example when kakashi stabbed Run then he wasn't able to stop it midway.

:vincent: I don't really get how so many ppl are still obsessing over who is holding back. Naruto is playing strictly defense. In other words he is only defending himself against what Sasuke puts out. The harder Sasuke pushes pulling out more feats Naruto the more feats Naruto will pull until one Naruto gets injured enough or they both reach a satisfying conclusion.

I am assuming that everyone who is saying that plot saved Naruto read the past 10-20 chapters... Because anyone who is a rational thinker would know that after the Kaguya fight, there is no way in hell that Sasuke could touch Naruto...
Kishi ****ed up the power scale on most of his characters...He made Naruto too OP for the Kaguya fight while having Sasuke look like a fodder to the point where he said Nothing he does works to not even laying a blow on her while Naruto destroyed her. Now all of a sudden Sasuke looks like he is on the same playing field with Naruto...

He made Madara way too OP then he got ****ed by BZ
Kaguya who is the goddess of chakra got done by two brats.

That depends on Naruto's reaction. Naruto won't try and kill Sasuke, but if they go at each other seriously he knows they will both die. I am willing to bet Naruto stays on Defense

Naruto basically did the same shit he always does. Rasengan and Shadow Clones.

Sasuke stated he was still getting use to his Rinnegan. Hence the reason he double soloed the Nine-Tails beast after the fight.

How? Naruto reacted to his attack not matter what, if you want to say Naruto blocked it then you are only showing chidori as an attack that is easily blocked.

What is the positive of Sasuke hitting Naruto in this situation? How is it a feat?

What does it matter? I don't see it
If he dodged it , which I think he did (barely) it means he can react to Sasuke his ST
If he was hit it just means chidori is to weak to do any meaningful damage (which is pretty normal) considering the stuff Naruto has tanked in the war chidori does not seem something special

After reading the viz scans, i can only see how fantastic this chapter was.

Naruto now knows how it feels to loose someone. He lost jiraiya.
Naruto knows how painful it is to be lonely and naruto does not want to let sasuke be alone like that.
I really like naruto for doing that.

And naruto being on defensive does mean he was holding back. Sasuke was on the offensive but naruto was not.He could not get himself to attack sasuke, his dearest friend.

And i am sure sasuke was holding back too, the attacks he initiated landed successfully but it did not do as much damage as they usually do. I think sasuke was just agitating naruto and he finally asked him to stop being defensive because he was getting cornered. He advised naruto to make some offensive moves or he would lose eventually (which is true).
