Two combatants met on a simple field for a spar. One side represented the ugly truth and the other, beautiful falsities. A light rain provided a gentle rhythm to the platform, a pitter-patter of sorts, and Jiren, who wasn't one to wait around, decided to be the first to rap over it. Speeding towards his opponent he contemplated several continuations then settled on one. Upon crossing short range he smoothly slid across the grass, the wet surface generously aiding him in his trajectory, and swiftly delivered a gut-wrenching kick into the intestines of his adversary, such that it sent him into the air a fair amount. He would repeat this again then quickly join him airborne, upon which he'd deliver the final touches to the combination.

Dean saw his opponent run at him without having used any jutsus. He thought that he wanted to get up close and personal so to stop his plan right then and there he jumped back and clapped his hands together. Channeling his water chakra a spiralling vortex of water formed around him. This would turn into a huge wave of water going straight at his opponent. If it wasn't stopped they would be overpowered. As that was happening Dean also threw several shurikens behind it hoping his opponent wouldn't see. Then he channeled his water chakra again and performed the tiger hand seal to cause a clone made of water to form.

Quite quickly the itinerary to the enemy became a dangerous one thanks to a wave of water. As said wave of water rapidly converged on his location he did two things. Firstly, he passively activated a sensory technique that immediately allowed him to keep tabs on his opponent's chakra, and by extension their exact whereabouts and nature of their chakra, as well as his own for reasons against pesky genjutsus, the latter which pissed him off to no end. Why would one devolve others into delusions when one could be direct? Secondly, Jiren utilized a handy technique that saw him veer off from his traditional path and instead make a new one sharp right. As sufficient a defense it was, it didn't give him the initiative. To change that, he brought forth a decent stream of wind (this happening before you've created your clone) and still continued with his original plan to close the gap.

The use of this can be compared to Sharingan's brutish level of sensory, able to sense collection of chakra but not the level of clarity and precision Byakugan has.

Note: Can only be used by bios with Sensory ability.
Note: After having on a bio for 1 month, users gain the ability to activate Sensory passively.

He saw that his water jutsu never made it to the man because he came from the left. A sudden gust of wind came from his lips too. This meant that Dean needed to react quickly. Knowing that fire was strong to wind, he took advantage of it and released a powerful fire ball. It overpowers the wind and kept going at him. But Dean didn't stop there. He was already using fire so he might as well keep going. After that without any hand seals he released more fire. This time in the shape of dragons. And then to add the cherry on top he released a powerful stream of fire from his mouth.

Jiren would've raised a funny eyebrow if he had any. Surprisingly the man was resilient... of course nothing would have indicated otherwise, save Jiren's overbelief in himself. In his book, persistence always beats resistance. So adhering to that philosophy he would continue his offense in spite of the raging ball of fire rapidly approaching his location. Even though the size of it easily dwarfed his person, there was a noticeable drawback to exploit. Seizing this golden opportunity, he utilized a jutsu that re-positioned him underground. It seemed like his opponent was in quite the fiery mood. Unfortunately for him, all three of his varying fire jutsus would miss their ugly mark. This much he knew of thanks to his sensory. Once in the clear Jiren burst out of his hiding spot. He wouldn't even wait until he was fully out - with only the top half above ground, he immediately clapped his hands together creating a massive surge of electrical energy which he would release into the ground before him upon placing his hands on it. It raced through with speed and precision, and if not defended against, would leave repercussions most lightning jutsus do.

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. While inside the earth, the user cannot make handseals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.

Dean saw the simple counter his opponent used and almost face palmed himself. A lot of chakra went into those techniques for nothing. The had guy poked out from the ground and channeled a bolt of lightning through it, which he thought was easy to counter. He took out a kunai quickly and swung it to create a powerful whirlwind of sharp winds. Both the wind and lightning would cancel each other out. But as that happened he also threw that same kunai at the head of the opponent. Now was his chance. He assumed the guy was stuck for whatever reason, otherwise he would have fully jumped out.

A look of genuine surprise flashed across Jiren's countenance. Perhaps his first true emotion since the start of the battle. The last thing he would've expected was for the guy to do what he himself had been trying. Based on prior bouts, he had concluded his opponents were an abandoned lot of creativity with absolutely no evidence of traffic in their cerebral cortex. Unfortunately, this one was no different. Nevertheless who was he to deny death to the doltishly willing? Expeditiously, a cunning plan came into cognition. Sans a modicum of hesitation, Jiren placed the open palm of his left hand before his forehead, intercepting the kunai with his flesh. Unsurprisingly, a stream of blood gushed forth, proceeded only by a stabbing pain. This surely lulled his opponent into a false sense of security, and if there was precedence, exaggerated it. Once he entered a five meter radius of him, Jiren channeled a special type of chakra and created small balls of explosive chakra before him. Granular in size, red in colour and spaced in formation, if there were any indication of their existence it would be the shimmer they displayed for a split second. Split second - because immediately after their inception their luminosity increased exponentially, blinding everyone save Jiren, as being the practitioner of the jutsu he had his eyes closed a moment before. And just as quickly as their radiance became one in similitude to flash bombs, each ball of explosive chakra beamed towards the now visually impaired opponent. Naturally, upon contact a vicious explosion followed. And Jiren controlled it such that it veered away from his person.

Description: Imperial Radiance is an uncharacteristically passive and tame technique compared to the nature of Explosion Release. This technique, instead of aiding in spreading further destruction, aids in tactical applications to cause confusion to opposing forces. Through the use of Bakuton chakra the user is capable of manipulating explosions which they will produce over the next three turns. This added manipulation allows the user to cause the inferno produced by the explosions to manipulate the natural light of the battlefield and explosion causing the explosions to work similarly to flash bombs. The radius of the affected area varies depending on the power and size of the explosion. Essentially, explosions which extend to short range will be capable of blinding those within mid-range. Thus the technique is capable of causing a flash within one range higher than the explosion itself. Of course, in the case of long-range explosions this matters little. While this technique is active the user is able to determine whether an explosion will produce a flash. The blinding effects of an explosion under Imperial Radiance simply last for the duration equivalent to that of an average flash bomb. Because the explosions occur at the user’s volition they are able to briefly close their eyes and time it with the flash of light in order to prevent their own blinding. Imperial Radiance can be used three times per battle and lasts for three turns.

For reasons beyond him, Dean's opponent allowed himself to be hurt by the kunai. Something that could very easily be countered. As this strange behaviour alerted him even more than he was already, suddenly many red dots formed around his opponent. Even though he couldn't get a good look at them because he was immediately blinded, it didn't stop his brain from working. In his defense, he channeled his chakra again and formed an armor of lightning around his body. Lightning being strong to explosion release would defend Dean sufficiently from any damage. He was still temporarily blind though, he as this happened he jumped back to put some distance between themselves. By the time he landed his eyesight had returned again.

The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active and use it to ram against them. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for up to 3 turns.

Either by a stroke of luck or genius cognition the guy managed to scram away relatively unscathed. A scintillating piece of attack achieved nothing, and as the guy collected himself, Jiren would be ceaseless in his marauding expedition. He successfully jettisoned from his hole and on towards, his right arm outstretching earnestly, and released five rods that rooted themselves around the opponent in a pentagonal formation. His expert manipulation of chakra saw to it that the rods did not explode prematurely, instead remaining in a state of inertia, whilst Jiren conducted other dealings, namely taking out a kunai and entering the parameters of said technique to engage in freeform taijutsu.

Dean wasn't quite sure how to react to the structures that surrounded him. They were made of the same chakra as the explosive chakra that he just defended against. For the moment they weren't exploding and the fact that his opponent was running at him told him that he wasn't planning to release them just yet. Even though he took out a kunai Dean wouldn't respond in kind. Instead he bid his time and at the perfect moment would deliver a powerful spinning kick. This would send him flying back into one of his rods, causing him damage if not exploding.

Jiren wasn't expecting the next series of moves. Mainly because the taijutsu technique the guy employed didn't use chakra, and thus his chakra sensory was ineffectual. What he did have were eyes. And with them he perceived his opponent spin and begin the onset of a vicious kick to his chest (assuming so since you didn't specify). Changing plans mid-motion, Jiren intercepted it by raising his knee and driving an elbow down at the same time. As soon as he stopped the kick, Jiren caused the rods around them to explode outwardly. The explosion wasn't has ferocious as before since he only needed them for the flash they produced. This would once again blind his opponent whilst he would be impervious to it (courtesy of closing eyes moments prior). In the precious seconds his opponent lost sight, Jiren would drive the kunai he had taken out earlier into his throat.
