Just a thought, but alien's shape and color can be easily explained.

You see, their civilization was before ours, and even before dinosaurs. This being said, we can assume that they were in a time where the gravity was different. Because the gravity wasn't so strong their bodies didn't developed into much greater creature. Their skin color seems pale or sometimes white, this is because at their time the sun has just began to develop and it was still young without much force, at the same time our planet was much cooler and a evidence that their skin are not so tanned. It was most likely that they left the planet, but are still wondering around us, I know because one of them visited me, he entered the room and said, "Get down and do the dinosaur."
