The ultimate teamwork type thing is kinda out the window, they don't have an elite ninja like Shino/Neji/Lee on thier team and Shikamaru really brought that team together and even then they are imo coin flip odds they beat Team Kurenai with Shino on the team. I feel they may need saving...

First of all it has to make sense, the person who gets the kyuubi would need to be able to handle a lot of chakra and have big reserves, at least Zabuza level Chakra which is really really high imo maybe a bit less.
