Both teams get destroyed...but in terms of who's better neither is, kurenai got slapped negged diff by itachi, asuma gets one shotted by pein, and gai is the only one that stands the greatest chance as he could at least beat kisame. Gaara unrestricted could probably beat deidara barely then get beat by Konan, Konan negs kankuro for obvious reasons, temari? Leave it to kakazu I would say pein but I'm being merciful.

Akatsuki would destroy if it's all at once. however gai is the only one who stood toe to toe with anyone and won. Gaara may have one if he didn't have a village to protect.
But Asuma also almost beat hidan minus the interferance of Kakuzu's stitching. So team one is more effective
