First off, it's a badass technique and it would give lee something gai sensei doesn't have(Gai has ninjutsu and summons and is shown to be always more powerful than lee) Apparently Lee learned the weakness of the technique so why not use the technique itself

I know taijutsu typically does not work on suigetsu but if lee uses the eight gates will suigetsu be fast enough to liquify before getting hit? will suigetsu kill lee before this happens?
