    Depends on your definition of evil, Madara's "goal" was peace-a generally "heroic" thing, however his means(IT) to get peace was not so "heroic". IT sort of embodies Indra's mindset of "peace by might", which I believe is flawed.

    Maybe, juubi is bigger so the damage would be spread out more (assuming AoE), although both JJs got wrecked by smaller scale attacks while the juubi or at least the holy tree took 4 of its TBBs...

    You don't need seals to cast jutsu either, handseals are just used since chakra control is not good enough, so you need to physically manipulate chakra with handseals. Chidori used to take handseals but sasuke learned how to use it without handseals I believe. Edit Believe water dragon takes...
