We went from an exciting fight with Madara to an extremely anticlimatic subplot with Naruto vs Sasuke that we all know how will end. As pathetic as Kishimoto has been since the beginning of shippuden, I do not believe he is this incompetent.

Looking at this ending, I think it's up there. Inuyasha was a million times better, but I don't have much more knowledge of other mangas.
