Are the Naruto movies canon?

None are canon, Road to Ninja can argued that it is but, it isnt. As for "The Last" we will have to see.

Kishi conveyed the Road to Ninja storyline, as well as all the character designs. So technically it can be considered canon material, however even though the storyline didn't alter or rebuke anything from the main manga storyline, the timeline of Road to Ninja doesn't fit very well with the manga storyline.

It is unknown whether "The Last" is pure canon, such as continuous of manga storyline. Or it is an alternate timeline designed by Kishi himself.

We just have to wait....

It will probably be several years after their Clash (Naruto vs Sasuke) as it seems that way, and there was something mentioned about a new project so don't think Naruto will be ending after November maybe on a long hiatus until Next Year

So far the movies are not but The Last might be since this is Kishi's way of continuing Naruto w/o being tied to drawing weekly.

Kishimoto wrote it but it's not canon. You could just see his point of view on some things if they were to happen. Like Itachi coming across Obito.
