Dunno if i read the fight right but it seemed as if Sasuke wasn't trying to kill the blonde dude, like all his moves were not intended to kill.

Proof Sasuke has the largest fanbase? I only know the fact that he is the 'most hated Anime Character of all time' at Anime Planet, 2nd only to Sakura. Naruto is placed 15 above. So how do you came with the conclusion Sasuke has the largest fanbase? Imagination?

Popularity brings both positive and negative reactions. This doesn't change the size of his fanbase. ..And I don't even like him.
This topic is kind of subjective so it's all about personal taste ..Unless you can get everyone who has ever watched/read Naruto to decide whether they're a fan.

Sasuke is cool,smart,badass,epic,interesting,strong,strategic,a prodigy,a genuis,elite fighter, has cool powers, great battles,etc. He can calmy come up with plans in battle as he's fighting,and successfully do them, outsmarting his oppenents, etc.

Yes, Sasuke wanted to question Deidara about Itachi. He wanted to gain information from him so he didn't go for the kill. He kicked Deidara's ass to the point where the only thing he could do to have a chance at killing Sasuke was to blow himself up. Sasuke drove him to that point. Sasuke won.

Correct. He is too well-written for a lot of people to understand. You gotta have prior knowledge of some literature for a character like Sasuke. Fact is fact and right is right, because a lot of people on NB and anime fans in general have little or no knowledge about anything beyond a couple of cheap anime. So these kind of responses are expected.

You should look at the previous page. I even listed a page from anime planet where the voting took place. I lost some brain cells reading the comments there. I hope those kids receive compensation money from the condom factory.

On MAL his popularity is average, and it's the largest anime/manga site there is, not to mention NB is full of trolls and most here have only seen Naruto.
