He is an extremely well-written and a complex character. He should have more fans that like him for his depth and complexity as a character. But I guessa lot of people are bandwagoners who simply like cool abilities.

Not all of them. Even if you're right about Sasuke being the most popular, it's obviously not solely due to him being strong. Under that logic, Kaguya would be popular. It's also partially due to how well they think he's written.



Again, how do you know this? Anyway, I think he's got a reasonable number of fans because he's one of the better written character in the manga, at least in my opinion. I could expatiate my reasons for thinking so if you want.

Alot of people are bandwagons.

Its rare that you find someone like me, whose genuinely liked him from his first appearance. I always liked his charisma & nonchalance, also I saw alot of his cockiness & pride in myself. It was an instant click for me, and as weird as it might sound I've kinda connected with a fictional character on a personal level. I feel like I understand all his actions regardless if I agree with them or not. I also like the complexity of his character it's quite amazing really.

Most Sasuke fans I have seen like him for his personality, fighting style, development, story impact, or combination. I haven't really seen many people who like him for his level of his power.
