Naruto has a better personality than sasuke.. Reason sasuke's personality kept on changing while naruto's remained the same nothing and nobody was able to make naruto change his goals and personality but sasuke.. Hmm lemme make list 1. Itachi

Not all of them. Even if you're right about Sasuke being the most popular, it's obviously not solely due to him being strong. Under that logic, Kaguya would be popular. It's also partially due to how well they think he's written.

Again, how do you know this? Anyway, I think he's got a reasonable number of fans because he's one of the better written character in the manga, at least in my opinion. I could expatiate my reasons for thinking so if you want.

Its rare that you find someone like me, whose genuinely liked him from his first appearance. I always liked his charisma & nonchalance, also I saw alot of his cockiness & pride in myself. It was an instant click for me, and as weird as it might sound I've kinda connected with a fictional character on a personal level. I feel like I understand all his actions regardless if I agree with them or not. I also like the complexity of his character it's quite amazing really.

I likes him since he was introduced into the manga.
His character is just the best in the whole manga.

If i would like him because he is strong i wouldnt even like him because there where other characters that where stronger in the past

War arc for example

Madara hashirama jubito > all ems sasuke

Kaguya arc

Jubi jin 3 eyed madara , kaguya > all rinnegan sasuke
Hago > sasuke

Naruto is ok, but he's the typical shonen MC, meaning he's linear & predictable. Its boring in my opinion.

That's why he is an excellent character and these - bar Orochimaru - are terribly written characters.
