Hinata vs Sakura - Who would win?

Its called the japanese overly exxagerating girls emotions and made sakura so upset she ran to naruto, though to be fair, her hugging sasuke stopped sasukes curse seal, maybe she thinks her hugs stop monsters, they have before

Messages and hinata showing she loves naruto doesn't make her powerful.

Personally this all started and became exxagerated after hinata dived in front of naruto, now all of a sudden hinata is some brilliant ninja blah blah blah.

She sucks, she will always suck, she's never won a fight, she never will win a fight.

The 3rd one is a fact, she never has won a fight, the other 3 are speculation, though rather high probability of being true given the 3rd one listed is fact, that she always loses.

Sure sakura gets more panels, but thats because shes a main character, naruto doesnt have "powerful side characters"

All characters that are powerful are MAIN characters, sakura being one of them, all side characters are good fighters, but the reason theyre not MAIN characters is because theyre not that powerful.

Sakura doesnt even have to hit hinata to own her, she makes earthquakes by punching the ground, if she tricks her good then

As much as kishi would love to write iruka as the main character while tobi and pain have a nice drink of coolade, and have Ino as sakuras replacement, i dont think he will, why? because theyre average ninja with average abilities.

Side characters are good
Main characters are awesome

Name me one side character that would actually rate high in the strength ranks

Both have been seen in almost equal number of instances ( not counting anime fillers or movies )

Moving on to her Manga techniques, we have

One of which is useless since it only extracts poisons and the other cannot heal internal damage which is what Hinata's Gentle Fist focusses on ...

Even if Hinata cannot close specific chakra points she can utilise the Gentle Fist which damages internal organs, and the chakra pathway system itself, knocking out Sakura's major repertoire

The Super Punch:

Hinata has shown to be more flexible than Neji and the punch is not so super fast that it cant be dodged. Hinata's Byakugan can see upto 10 km therefor cancelling all Sakura's attempts to sneak up on her. Also, a light tap from Hinata could disable Sakura's hands entirely.

whereas Hinata still has te technique she ued on Pain.....

you limit sakuras stuff to manga and then come out with a load of crap hinata can use that ive NEVER seen in the manga.

did you see him against naruto clones? Neji is fast and very flexible.

.....Hinata was seen in chuunin exams in the manga....thats about it...and everyone had same panel amounts roughly to introduce all the characters.

Gai sensei is kakashis rival, he has always looked out for kakashi, he has fought against itachi and kisame-both very strong and powerful akatsuki members, He has also been a part of many arcs within the manga.

Neji is part of gais group and as thus has similar panel time as Gai sensei.

sorry but hinata is a side character, im not saying side characters are all wimps, im saying theyre not as powerful as sasuke, naruto, kakashi, jiraiya, SAKURA etc etc.

Itd be pretty crappy to have main characters be owned by side characters.

Im sorry but MANGA wise all hinata has is jyuuken, and that CAN be dodged.

Byakagun is NOT AN END ALL FOR **** SAKES.

it depends on HOW WELL YOU USE IT.

she never uses it for fighting really, anytime we see her she uses it for scouting, she is not a fighter, she is a supporting scouter.

Ok, looks like this is going a bit too far.
I'm here for a little time, but I see that there's a general... disbelief... on everything related to Naruto franchise that isn't the Manga itself. I don't blame ya, I too consider the fillers and cannons a bit exaggerated and sometimes out of the place considering Naruto's universe. So, knowing this, I'll not rely on anything but the Manga here. I'll not attach anything, except if asked to prove something. Here I go:

For now, we need to know the two characters we're comparing:

Sakura
Offensive:
Has a extremely powerful punch due to her superior chakra control;
Defensive:
Knows a couple of medical techniques she can use to heal herself (external damage only);
Due to her training with tsunade, she's good at dodging attacks;

Experience:
- Her first real experience was at the forest, on chunnin exams, where she tried her best to protect both sasuke and naruto. Even so, her strength was no match for her opponents, so she needed Rock Lee and Shikamaru's team support.
- Then she fought Ino at the chuunin exams, where the fight ended up in a draw. Even so, this was her first evolution as a character, considering how weak she was and how she was able to reach Ino's level.
- Her next fight, not considering all the matches she did nothing but needing someone else support, was against sasori at the shippuden stage. With the direct help of chiyo, a senior member of the sand village that previously knew the majority of sasori's movements. They both managed to win against him, but still she doesn't showed the necessary battle experience as she was saved at least three times by chiyo.

Hinata
Offensive:
Gentle Fist style (Jyuuken), an advanced form of taijutsu used to cause internal damage instead of external damage as dealt by Sakura's gouken style. It's unknown if she's able to hit the opponent tenketsus with her jyuuken, so I'll not consider it.
Juho Soshiken, her only known and unknown technique at the same time, this proves she learned few tricks from the first time we saw her.
Defensive:
Byakugan, a eye technique used by the hyuuga clan that allows the user to see everything arround him/her at a nearly 360 radius. It's known that the power of someone byakugan is judged by how far he/she can focus his/her vision... Hinata is able to go as far as 10km (it's said a rookie can see only see 100mts forward).

Experience:
- Right now, we only know about her fight against neji where she was completely overpowered by her cousin. Her merits at this battle is how she managed to change herself and her endurance (at this time compared to naruto's endurance).
- Latter she was at the team sent after sasuke, here she proved an increased level of maturity, as unlike kiba and naruto, she remembered to use her abilities to what was more advantageous to her team (this proves she's aware to her abilities).

As we can see, both of them have an attack that if successfully hit the opponent only once, can give nearly instant victory to this side. As I said, it's all about who dodge better and who's able to hit first.
