Itachi cannot beat Gaara anywhere, he loses both in the desert and outside the desert. Itachi does not even have time to look at Gaara, he has to keep looking around for sand and praying he doesn't get killed.

Tell me this:
1.how gaara avoids genjutsu in a first place? Know this itachi is far better genjutsu user than anyone alse.
2.how gaara gona fight itachi i mean tactics? Know this itachi intelligense and battle tactics>>>>>>>>>>>>>gaaras
3.sasuke with 2tm sharingan was already faster than gaaras sand i mean alot faster. Itachi is milions times faster than sasuke was then.So tell me how gaara gona catch itachi?know this itachi using crow clones like a diversion.
Itachi rapes him in genjutsu, taijutsu, inteligense, speed. Him doesnt need MS beat gaara...
1) itachi might be the top in genjutsu,but his genjutsu still has the same need for eye contact,gaara faced 5 ems opponnts at once,all loojing at him and not once did he look at tham,his sand eye will easily let him fight without genjutsu as well as sand sensing,gennjutsu is not a problem for gaara at all.
2) tactics?,gaara fooled the mizukage twice with the same trick,fighured out a way to best joki which muu in all his life could not do,saw susanoos weakness after seeing it once,so tactics arent a problem,what tactic can itachi use to beat gaara anyway?
3) LOL,comparing chunin to current gaarta is laughable. But just to own this argument,gaara easily kept up with kimimaro and caught him in 5 minutes in a sand coffin,kimimaro was much faster than sasuke in SR arc,so his sand speed overtook sasuke from that moment. He blocked sasuke's ama flames like it was nothing,itachi can't do that,he caught 3 kages at once,he reacts to onstant explosions like nothing,he,in a split second was able to raise himself and 3 kages above madara's forest. Itachi wont be a problem to catch and tachi s just a little bit faster than sasuke,not millions :rofl:.
Crow diversions?,gaara has sand clones which he can use to easily take the form of tachi's own clones like he did to fool the mizukage,his sand clones can regenerate easily,and one of them alone was able to capture the mizukage despite the oil when he got close,while another was able to hold joki boy long enough for gaara to gather enough gold dust. Taijutsu is useless against gaara,itachi's genjutsu is shy from useless,his speed isnt on the same level as gaara's sand. Gaara with gourd sand alone beats 3t itachi

1) ridiculous,madara has the ems,itachi has a measly ms. And it dosent even matter,cuz itachi still needs eye contact to hit gaara with a genjutsu,and it is not going to happen,reasons already stated

Gaara had been killing people since he was born due to his condition as jinchuriki.He has fought against edo kages,Madara and a member from the akatsuki.His role in this war has been truly relevant.You can't simply understimate his experience.

itachi's susanoo has no underside,gaara can control sand from there and grab him,onoki lightened the sand aroynd gaara not the one around madara which gaara used to pull him out of his susanoo.
