Why do ppl think Garra is not equal to Itachi?? He def can go toe to toe with him and out with the victory. He has shown good enough offense and defense to handle what Itachi has to throw at him. Garra's sand speed has increased significantly, as he has blocked Sasuke's attack, block A's leg drop (who is now the fastest ninja alive, and one of the strongest offensive shinobi in the series) and have helped top ranked Kages. His defense is known of the ultimate defense, which idk what forceful attack of Itachi's could break it. Itachi's sword (forgot the name) would what, seal some of his sand?? I see it as if it doesnt connect to any of the sand he keeps in his gaurd he will just fine. Now, it's dwn to genjutsu which would be the most difficult to avoid. First off his normal jutsu can be broken, and for the dummies claiming he owned Oro with it, you're wrong (oro smiled and was about to release it until he cut his hand from doing so). Now, many have mentioned how it would be hard for Garra to avoid eye contact, how so actually?? Garra has experience against Uchiha and now damn well what to avoid. As his sand is everything, his hands, his eyes (third) and mind (form anything with it) him looking directly at Itachi and defending his attacks is not all needed. In most of his fights (not comparative, just saying) he didn't even look at his opponent majority of his fight and Garra is very intelligent himself to fall for something easily on guard (which most characters who did fall for itachi's genjutsu were either underestimating him or were not aware of his abilities fully). This isn't fact but it's possible that since Garra's mom is always there to protect him (as stated and shown), how it not possible that if he is caught in genjutsu, she wouldn't be able to help break it?? She most definatly could IMO.

I wouldn't say that Itachi is overrated,but people have to admit that Gaara is antiuchiha material.It wouldn't be that easy for Itachi to beat him and I think he has the same chances to win as Itachi since he has countered most of MS abilities.

Gaara vs Sasuke at 5 Kage summit Gaara was holding his own without even trying to kill sasuke. Now we know he can pull sasuke out of susano like he did to madara and would crush him. Plus he can counter his Blaze release by pulling the flames anywhere he wants.

No he's currently 1 vs 5 (getting owned by now)

How is he getting Owned if he hasn't even fought them yet?

Gaara is overrated. Speed is obviously his weakness. Something all current Uchihas definetly have.

gaara's sand can block amaratsu or enton and no uchiha is fast enough to hit gaara. He is the best fighter to face any uchiha

But tbh Gaara is inferior to Itachi in my eyes. As for Sasuke, I don't really rate him anywhere atm.
Sasuke is a made character, who has been handed most of his highest attributes. Don't even care about him.
