+20 damage to Forbidden technique, what will i do with it? use Forbidden technique of element it's strong to, OH WAIT, I DON'T HAVE ANY TECHNIQUE LIKE THAT CAUSE I CAN'T MAKE CJs, but that is not the point here, my point is that i am just saying, that if i, or anyone else would try to even make CJ like that you would laugh at me and give me do not resubmit, i don't even care i will never get it, but you're telling me, that that technique isn't OP?

and you being able to be uneffected by Killing Intent and being able to use Killing Intent effectively on people of your own rank is not OP? tell me, what would for example stop Official Sage to go destroy village with just this one technique, yes, it would effect even Official Sage, so how exactly is that not OP? when whole village gets paralyzed from this technique you can just release something like Swamp Of the underworld and make some villagers sink, yes, you can hurt yourself, sure, but what would stop you from using it again? people would just bleed to death if you would spam Killing Intent everywhere

As for it being OPed, it is not. OPed is something that can't be blocked regardless of how you try or the abilities you have. Oped are Sage techniques you can't see coming that can crush and kill you on the spot. OPed is Izanagi, a cannon technique for example. But that "mode" can easily be countered or fought against. Its is not OPed. Its just beyond you.

Killing Intent? LOL Anyone with 2 brain cells can actually counter it. A Sannin used it against a Genin and the Genin still broke it. Its an ability that serves the purpose of drama, nothing else. Think. Instead of vomiting useless nonsenses on your keyboard.

I 100% Agree

While this will be a very unpopular thing to do, I feel it is the right thing to do. However, Alber Einstein said it best when he said, “What is right is not always popular and what is popular is not always right.” I always felt that there was a period in NB history when the customs were checked in a way where the approval was given based on the assumption that the jutsu ould not be abused. While the original creator may not abuse them, the inheritor might. Just like when building codes get updated, the building needs to stay in compliance or it either gets updated, or condemmed.

Even if it is a good idea to check everything again, I must agree with Scorps, it is almost impossible given that mods will get overworked by the huge amount of customs which exist, and indeed, if a couple have to be rechecked then it would only be fair to recheck them all. It would be a huge task.

If somewhere there was a law where you could have as many guns as you want and shoot freely with no consequence, then that law got reappealed but the people that USED to follow that law STILL get to shoot and have a stockpile of guns as they please.

This can be compared to the cj suggestion and really as you can tell from us regular members people are pretty fed up with it. Think about all the recent uproar over this especially the whole "unbeatable chakra cocoon". Its clear its time for SOME kind of change

right there you have it in your own sentence. Its possible by the people who lead this rp and it doesnt have to be JUST them. As zk said in a prior thread you dont have to be a mod or an admin or a sensei to help the rp. You can just be a normal member and lend a hand.

Yes...I did decline a cj like that...more actually... They blocked your opponents sensation of pain making it an unreleasable genjutsu. This one blocks your own sense of pain...not your opponents... :sy:


And mig, sorry if I'm harsh but this tech and all the NB gen techs weren't made to serve us. They were made for the RP. If i leave NB now, they stay here. They aren't mine. You are talking as if they are. What about EIG? CM? Sage Mode? the 7SM swords? Following your reasoning all of those need to be removed and/or reworded.

Don't you think a lot of us are working on improving the rp? There are, believe me. Everyone can see this 'problem' and there must be a solution but this isn't helping. There must be steps taken that not all will agree with but sometimes things have to be done. Still, people are not only arguing about the things that were posted in the first post but about a lot more and eventually it will lead to chaos. Chaos never helps if one wants to solve a problem. What people need to do is not attack each other personally, not attack each others thoughts, rather not argue at all, but discuss. As reasonable grown-ups. Nothing will come out of fighting and arguing. If everyone just could stop thinking of their own problems for a second and could think about the situation as a whole. Not about what is good for them, but what is good for the rp, and even better, what is good for NB. If we could all do that there might come solutions of such threads, otherwise only chaos, hatred and moaning will become of such threads.
What I meant to say with the post earlier is that, as you said, people will have to work together if they want to recheck every custom and so on, it will not work if the mods, who already have so much work, get even more work. i agree completely. Im saying rp needs some kind of a change, a small one at first will suffice as long as its some sort of progress. Not every custom needs to be checked just the ones that surface and are deemed to be op maybe by a vote by the senseis? this may take some work off the mods hands and perhaps even some regular members could help

there are changes coming, theres a kage summit over a few right now, and a larger rp update on the way

thats what i keep saying, people are too quick to flame and moan without realising the rp is an ever changing thing and what might be op now might be obsolete in the future
