ok guys i know this tread is just spam now, but your debate about what zen and scorps say should be done via vms

Recently, I got re-acquainted with 'X'. X is a nice guy, but he makes the weirdest things sometimes. In X's bio he has a note wherein it is stated that X is immune to his own Custom Element and, apparently, all heat-related techniques. With that single note, X has effectively made the Fire element, Lava Element and all variations of them, useless.
All it took was for the bio-checker to overlook that single note.
Isn't that incredible? One would think that we follow some sort of 'logic' here on NB, but apparently not. Seriously, we can't even be trusted with our own biographies because we hide abilities and powers in our bio history. Is that not ridiculous? Are we really so immature that the Moderators have to proof-read every single thing we do and submit?

Some people still argue that their own techniques are unable to harm them. Luckily, we, as a collective, seem to have reached consensus that such a notion is untrue. So, I ask, why wouldn't X be affected by his own Custom Element if he somehow gets hit by his own technique? Why wouldn't heat affect him?

1. I am immune to SOLAR WIND and HEAT. It says so in my bio, as well as in the CE submission that NEXUS Checked. Nowhere does it say that I cannot be burned by fire, lava, or any other technique.....USED BY MY OPPONENT. In other words, if you try to send my own technique back at me, I will be unharmed by DAMAGE. Will I still have to take the force of the technique? Yes I will. I never said that I will take my technique head on and just stand there like it was a light breeze in the wind.

a. If you are using a fire technique, that only has Heat applied, such as Mathias' Heat Wave Fire Style technique, then yes, I am immune.

b. If you are using a FIREBALL, Fire TORNADO, or anything of the sort, The HEAT will not bother me. Taking away oxygen? Of course I will suffocate. Will I be burned by the fire? Of course I will. Gobi even asked me that very question the first time I made my Heat resistance bio. When I find the link, I will show you what he and I both said.

Because you are violating the rules of your own Technique. They can't have a connection with each other or a pull between the two, if you dont have them directly parallel. I tried being nice. I was cordial as shit. I didnt even blow up about it to people like I normally do, but gave you a "thumbs up" for a nasty technique despite you using it wrong.

Do me a favor to test your theory. Take two magnets. Hold them directly parallel to each other, one negative and one positive. You all know what will happen. Magnets touch. Aka the connection between them causes them to come together.

Now do me a favor to test your theory. Take those same to magnets, and hold them adjacently parallel to each other. Do you feel any pull at all?

But lets go further into our fight shall we. I used Cursed Mark Seal. The Seal can only be used once per battle. That means if you go into CM1. You can't go into CM2. So that means you have to go straight from Normal to CM2 without breaking the rule or else your can't use CM2 in a fight ever. Nowhere does it state that going from Normal to CM1 to CM2 is considered as 2 moves in a turn, but I am being penalized for a canon technique, that I had previously checked with Zen about last month to make sure I was right. And yet Im still being accused of being wrong, when the person who makes the techniques said that I was right before I even took my first fight against Ryoku and activated my CM2 against him. And something else Zen confirmed, was that you can deactivate CM2 before the 5 turns of technique so as not to experience the lack of chakra effects.

Most of yall should know by now that I dont do shit anymore without verifying it first, and yet I still get the bull$hit.

I 100% Agree

While this will be a very unpopular thing to do, I feel it is the right thing to do. However, Alber Einstein said it best when he said, “What is right is not always popular and what is popular is not always right.” I always felt that there was a period in NB history when the customs were checked in a way where the approval was given based on the assumption that the jutsu ould not be abused. While the original creator may not abuse them, the inheritor might. Just like when building codes get updated, the building needs to stay in compliance or it either gets updated, or condemmed.

Actually this is possible from my understanding his techniuque creates a gravitational field of sorts around you in a diagnal pattern. The top of the technique creates the "roof" the uppermost part of the field and the part under you is the bottom and if the pull is towards the bottom you will get pulled both backwards and downwards bringing you to the floor. Also you are comparing magnetic fields to gravatational fields which are completely different but let me tell you about your theory as well.

Now if you were using two refrigerator magnets then yes your theory would work but if you put to "super magnets" in the same position one would indeed pull the other as long as someone was "anchoring" one magnet then the top one would pull towards the one they were holding. The ground is working as the anchor in his move. Idk where you live but in america these super magnets are common childrens toys. Theyre no bigger than half of your index finger and you can throw them up in the air almost a foot apart and theyll snap together. Needless to say his technique is probably much stronger than these magnets.

You are talking in feet correct?

100 METERS = ROUGHLY 328 ft.

Thats only above him.

Then you have a 1 Meter layer underneath me. = Roughly 3 ft.

Im not even gonna try to do math right now as I have just gotten out of school and dont really feel like it. But you are suggesting that he can maintain a pull that drastic with such a difference, and once again sir. I call bullshit. If you throw super magnets into the air, the only way they will become connected is if they have the opposite sides practically directly parallel to each other, otherwise they will push each other further apart. If you paid attention to what I was talking about, it was the CONNECTION. There isnt one if you do it the way he did it. But no, the effect on gravity and the pull of a magnet is not too dissimilar in my scenario that you and others cannot understand what I meant and where I was coming from. You understand that that connection is extremely weak.

then dont you think maybe its not US.. but you... you saying you help update with the rules.... But not even 50% of NB likes it honestly... you even have old NB rpers retiring cause of the new rules... So if you really Help with nb rp like you say... instead of bashing people (which you done ALOT in this thread) take what people say into consideration so it dont just meet YOUR specifications but the specifications of all those who love to RP.... With all due respect, Teno, don't you think rules, and especially rule updates are needed to keep NB sane? Without updated rules it would be more of a mess than it is now. More people means more restrictions to keep things in order. There is a lot which has changed from the start of the rp (where the rules where made) until now. Everyone knows that. The updates are a must. And, contributing to the rules a bit myself, I know and am able to tell you that there are discussions among the people who are updating the rules where is discussed what is best for both rp and the users. People don't see this because it is 'behind the screens', but you cannot judge them who their path you have not walked.

He's a Medical Sensei. Sensei, not a Shishou. And I think he works harder than many Orange Names out there, simply on the fact that what he does seem, to me, much more tedious than having a couple of students. And I hate Minato, so that's saying a lot.

With all due respect, Teno, don't you think rules, and especially rule updates are needed to keep NB sane? Without updated rules it would be more of a mess than it is now. More people means more restrictions to keep things in order. There is a lot which has changed from the start of the rp (where the rules where made) until now. Everyone knows that. The updates are a must. And, contributing to the rules a bit myself, I know and am able to tell you that there are discussions among the people who are updating the rules where is discussed what is best for both rp and the users. People don't see this because it is 'behind the screens', but you cannot judge them who their path you have not walked.
And, in the spirit of good grammar, I think you meant 'The best noise in life is silence.'

I teach a select few who deserve to gain something special on nb, not the masses who harasss senseis, and disrespect them the moment they get what they want ^_^

Person M can use techniques improperly and win fights every time because of it.
Person L can use a canon tech exactly as it is worded, get clarification on the way it is worded, use it the way it was worded and got clarification on, and loses the fight. But not only that. But now the technique will be reworded to fit the way it is believed to be worded.

Person M can make CE's and CEJ's and use them in ways that you can't even find within his CE Submission.

Person L can use CE's with CEJ's that are fully detailed within the confines of the CE submission, and because it is either too OPed or not understood, is completely dismissed as wrong and needs to be stripped of all things until he can learn how to use right what he has made and gotten approval for by all the higher ups.
