But what's the need of it if you never use it? wait, you did use, it must be good to have it as a last resort, when the usual water > fire strategy fails.
I'm guessing that 'that once', which will probably develop into 'a few times', are the times when you can't win without it.

Gives him all the valid reason to do as he pleases >_> Justify, if rest of the role play cant think anything but differently shaped and sized fire balls should you be restricted from using better ideas if they are available? I believe the thread creator also tried to make a point of how canon jutsu should be better adapted into the RP's balance.
Also, that shouldn't mean being able to heal yourself from damage done to your body, Gaara here was saying he can regrow lost limbs, limbs here are the parts of the body already turned into sand.

what about people who have OP technique which is counted as Cannon? xd like certain Genjutsu which gives you +20 to all Ninjutsu, +20 to all Taijutsu, + 1 rank to all Genjutsu, makes you faster and stronger, and after it's effects end, there is only 1 bad thing that happens to you, you can't use A-ranks and above, that's all, OH, and let's not forget ability to use Killing Intent on people who are of the same rank as you

Well, since those techniques are cannon I strongly advice everyone to go to you and ask you if you can teach it to them ;P
But seriously, if they are cannon and everyone can learn them then we are even again. Yes, people with higher ranks can learn more, but we all once started at genin. Also, we all know about the cannon techniques and can learn how to counter them (most of them), and simply know how to avoid your opponent from using them. Custom Jutsus are jutsus we do not all know about and so it is harder to block/counter them and so on. So there is a difference.

problem is that not all can get it, atm only Scorps and Emp have it as it is NB Genjutsu, so you need to do well in some tournament to get permission for them and than master them MOANING OF SENSEI FTW
