Stop the Violation of the System

I think we are derailing from the main point of this thread that was if mods should or not enforce new restrictions on old, powerful techniques. Honestly, lets look at this in a practical point of view and for that I'll write a few questions which I'm curious to see if anyone knows the answers:

-How many approved Customs do you think exist currently in NB?

-How many customs where submitted from January until now in our RP?

Since January, with the 3 techs per submission rule there was about (give or take) 5700 submissions of customs. This excludes CEs off course.

Now, approved, since the creation of the rp there are about (give or take, bare in mind its just a number) about 8000 customs, custom summons, etc.

Now, to review one, we'd need to review all. We took 9 months to check 5700 submissions...how long do you think it would take to recheck 7000? About a year, more or less. I say this because I refuse the concept of rechecking, re-evaluating some approved customs and not others. And I'm utterly against the concept of simply taking them away from the member in question.


Now, lets be honest, is this even remotely viable?

rechecking 7000 cj while still checking newly submitted ones would cripple the system

misunderstanding my point there..

my point was, the newer rpers usually moan about what the older members have.. which is true

if all the older rpers leave, the newer gen couldnt replace the experience and teaching ability of the older members .. which is true

so if we all get our unique abilities stripped and leave in protest, the rp wouldnt work.. again.. perfectly true

You don't need a list of approved cj... you have the cj users forum where people store their own customs. Ok atleast one cj thread is hidden from us users as far as i know but alot of the old cj are still in the old cj forum xd

I hate new gen rpers who think rp is about power, and not fun. If i like someone, i'll help them out, like Method, Cobalt, Gaara... ect... because they have the right attitude.

With far less members there can be more allowed for there will be less chaos etc. The ones who joined later didn't have the 'luck' that they could think of something and it didn't exist yet, nor did we have the 'luck' that there still was much über OP'ed stuff allowed. Is that fair? Maybe not. Can we do anything about it? No. Is it something to make a big deal of? Hell no. Things are as they are and nothing, really nothing, can be 100% fair. Nothing to do about it. Beside that, rp is for fun, not about who is most OP'ed. Let's all keep that in mind.

and Im one of them but idc... Its just Rping.. for all I care Me complaining is Rping too.

but what you guys fail to see is where WE stand in all of this... Rp is supposed to be skill based AND fun... Now dont get me wrong

Gettn Brutley murdered by OP JUTSUS/ELEMENTS or 12th gate speed and murdered to death isnt quite fun for the other person. so the fact of the matter is... You guys cant COMPLAIN about us COMPLAINING cause you arent in our shoes.... granted If i stayed on nb back in 2010 (which i regret to this day that i didntt. ) i wouldnt be having this convo really...... But the simple thing is... In this Rp you guys emphasize equality, fairness, and Fun

when you fight an old gen, make rules saying no cj or ce or something like that if you cant stand letting us use our abilities, its that bloody simple

We didn't start off as the best and the most OP, we started in the same place as you and worked hard to get where we are. Along the way i've had things taken away from me...

Like my Uchiha bio with sage mode when a new rule was made... It was fair i guess... but i didn't like it, so i worked harder to get where i am.

And we are not the only ones to "OP shish", you can win stuff in tournaments, you can go take bio tests like Pein or Minato (much like Rexii did) and you will have immense power. The difference is, we had the skill to get the power. I passed the Nagato test, but still dropped the bio You can pass that test and shinra tensei anything away or absorb any jutsu O_O

I would never limit somebody in rp if its an all out battle to something
cause for all i see... I can tell you not to use zetsu special abilities and you dont and i win.. but all ima realize is... If you use your bio to its full potential i would lose... No pride or fun in winning in a handicap....
