I relied on the Wiki and it said Kakashi became chuunin at 6, But your understanding what I'm saying Obito is 4 years older than Kakashi.Yeah... seeing Kakashi was 7-8 years old when he became Chunnin that would probably make him around (not it said 6 years YOUNGER than naruto- not at the age of 6 years). That means around Obito's death, Kakashi would be around 10-12 when Obito died, and about 4-5 years later Obito would indeed be at least 18-20 years of age
Kakashi passed the test "6 years younger than Naruto" Naruto was 13-14 years old (about) That means Kakashi was around 7-8 years old, and Obito passed the test when he was probably 12-13 years old
I was working with the numbers regarding the promotions. If their the same age how can Kakashi graduate at 6 and Obito at 9 and they're still in the same class? I doubt Kakashi decided to stay an extra 3 years for fun.You didn't read your own ****ing link. Your own link says obito "died" at 13, sixteen years ago, that would make him 29-30 depending on how you fudge the numbers. The EXACT same age as kakashi.
I relied on the Wiki and it said Kakashi became chuunin at 6, But your understanding what I'm saying Obito was much older than Kakashi.
Why are you trying to justify what is a clear writing mistake? Either kishi forgot kakashi graduated so early or he changed his mind. Either way they're the same age.I was working with the numbers regarding the promotions. If their the same age how can Kakashi graduate at 6 and Obito at 9 and they're still in the same class? Naruto was 12, 12 minus 6 is 6.You must be registered for see images
I took information from the manga.
How could such a big mistake take place? It was well known that Kakashi graduated at a young age, how could he show them both in the same class then? Why are you trying to justify what is a clear writing mistake? Either kishi forgot kakashi graduated so early or he changed his mind. Either way they're the same age.
But obito didn't join the academy till age 9 so either his age of death is wrong or the age he joined the academy is wrong. Which means it depends on which side of the tobi=obito fence you're on on which one you choose is right.UMM No. They didn't become chuunin at the same time.
They took the test at the same time, Kakashi passed at 5, Obito failed it like twice. Then passed.
No I'm saying Obito was 13 during the Gaiden & Kakashi was 9.This isn't rocket science. Kakashi became chuunin sooner than Obito and Rin. When Obito finally became a chuunin, Kakashi passed the jounin exam.
They were all about the same age in Kakashi Gaiden.
Edit : OP, what you are implying is that Obito was 16-17 at the time of Kakashi Gaiden which is nothing more than outright ridiculous.
Fail logic in bold, Kishimoto wrote it, Kishimoto=Databook.Ok guys so the main argument against Obito by Izuna fans, is the timeline.
And that's because apparently Obito was 14 during the Konoha attack, due to some databook saying so. But a lot of people seem not to realize the truth here.
Is Obito supposed to be 30 according to the databook? Yes.
Is Obito supposed to have been 14 during the Konoha attack according to the databook? Yes.
Does Kishimoto give a shit?
No.
The databook isn't canon. Ages have never been stressed in the manga, and that's all that matters. If Kishi decided to change his mind about the characters ages, then let it be, the databook is nothing but a mere draft. Therefore, Obito was an adult during the Konoha attack and your points are invalid. It's that simple.
TL;DR : **** the timeline plot holes and all the arguments made around them by the angry Izuna fanboys. Kishimoto > databook.
