Minato is my favorite ninja but i think Muu is stronger than Madara or hashirama.
Muu can use Dust Release becost Mincato is Fast.
But Muu have a lot of technics
We haven't seen Minato's full arsenal, he wasn't hokage for no reason. But invisibility isn't really a factor since Minato can sense Muu. I still give this to Minato since he has a s/t.
all good points from both sides it can go either way muu has experience and a wide array of jutsus on his side(jinton is crazy) so he culd win at the same time one tag from minato and its game over(ftg is op) nt to mention his speed

2nd wins this , minato is helpless , all he can do is use space time to seal away and dodge muus attacks ,soon he would run out of chakra , and he has no long range attacks as far as we know , muu can completely hide his presence which makes minatos sensory capabilities useless , and muu is smart , just like minato ,minato has the edge in close combat , but what can he do if muu is too far away(muu also has 3 basic elements , and presumably a KKG too , if he can use a KKT)
Minato could try listening to keep track of Mu. Although Mu could just fly. Since Mu can be invisible and fly in the air, Minato would have a hard time tracking him. It is shown that Mu has quick reflexes or whatever you call it, when he was the only Kage to dodge Gaara's sand attack that came from underground. So that seems like the type of reflex needed to react to Minato.
Minato is smart though and has good reflexes too. Maybe Minato could just keep moving and teleporting. So Minato might be able to outlast Mu. Minato could listen to Mu stepping on the ground (he won't stay in the air forever).
Although it might be easier for Mu since Minato is not an actual sensor, and Minato does not have many ranged attack. He has a frog summon though. If he was able to put a seal on Mu then that is an advantage.
(I just realized that maybe Mu "supposedly" wraps his body like that so when he is invisible, he is harder to hear, because his does not have clothes that make noise when he moves. So maybe those clothes are for silence and stealth purposes.)
damn this is a hard one.....hmmm i think muu would win but if minatos reflexes are as good to rival that of A's in his raiton armor than the battle won't be easy at all,the reason i say that is because if muu try to go invisible and spam jinton from above(death from above LOL) it would be noticeable and for someone with speed and reflexes like minato hitting him won't be easy i mean sneaking up on him won't be east either because if you notice in the fight with tobi after he teleported the tbb tobi tried to to sneak up on minato using a space time ninjutsu that was more advanced than his own and minato wasn't even looking at him and he managed to detect it and go on the offense at will does are some good reflexes so it won't be easy for muu.
well looking at the points i think negative is right coz raijin,flying thunder god & even rasengan can't probably defeat tsuchikage cuz he'll evade all the attacks and having a plan in mind he may lure minato into his traps or something...now there's left the intelligence and the summoning jutsu,well i can't say much about this but intelligence n summoning are'nt also one of those techniques that can bring down Mu cuz well as i wanna say is just invincible to minato's attacks...thats all i did'nt briefly tell cuz i can't bring any more points in my mind so.....
My main issue and reason why i think Minato can win is he's one of the fastest characters of all time yes i know that speed doesn't mean he automatically wins but he can catch Muu there's no doubting that and if he can catch him he can place the FTG seal.
Here's how i think a few of Muu's main techs could be countered just my opinion rip away if im wrong i can't be assed going further in depth so will keep things brief.
Shima uses her jutsu to find Mu like when Animal Path was hidden in his chameleons mouth and boom he's located making invisibility useless.
Dust release - Minato is more then capable to either dodge or simply Space time barrier it away.
Muu's other affinities - I doubt anything there could catch Minato practically rendering them useless if some of his best techniques cant connect.
Sensor abilities - FTG is space time jutsu so it erases all presence of the user when in use making sensing him not possible (correct me if im wrong cant remember if that's how it works)
Great thread and strong points for the arguement. If i was to choose who would win this one it would be the first one to hit. Muu hits Minato and thats game right there. Minato hits Muu with FTG seal and thats game also. So really it just comes down to first hit. I would say minato would find a way to pull it off with his intelligence and unmatched speed. I would also assume Minato can use sage mode since he signed a contract with the toads. He would be able to do it like Jiraya did. I think these two are much more evenly matched then people give them credit for so really this battle is a tossup.

1. Elemental Versatility and Infinite Battle Tactics
you mentioned that the Second Tsuchikage possessed several elemental affinities and he is able to use them to their utmost effectiveness but you fail to mention that Minato has elemental affinities too. It was mentioned by kakashi that jonins usually have at least 2 elements. These elements are still unknown but he definitely had elemental affinities.

You also have to consider that Minato has the contract with the toads. It was not a contract with gamabunta but rather with the species in Mount Myōboku. He can summon the inhabitants in Mount Myōboku because he has a contract with them

Since you are talking about elements, Minato can summon Fukasaku and Shima which are both sage toads and can use senjutsu plus their own elemental affinities. They are also capable of doing sound genjutsu.

Not only are they able to use genjutsu but Shima, one of the sage toad can use Fighting Tongue Bind which can sense enemies even if it's invisible thus nullifying Mu's invisibility.

Now that you know what these toads can do, you might ask how can they activate those techniques if Mu keeps on attacking them. Simple....Minato can create a barrier that can possibly hold a full powered Kurama and not to mention that he can also use space time barrier.

Is Mu's attack faster than A's speed or Tobi's warping tech? I don't think so.
Your number 2 reason which is Range of the Battle can be nullified by the use of Gamabunta. His attack can also covered great distance and he can jump high.
Your number 3 reason which is Ability to Warp the Terrain can be nullified by space time barrier and Mu's attack can be redirected to him thus wasting his chakra on a certain attack
Your number 4 reason is not true. FTG is instant. No speed involve. He can't react to something not involving speed. Even Tobi failed to evade Minato's rasengan. Naruto was able to hit Mu with a rasengan and Minato's FTG is faster than that.
By the way, take note that I'm not listing what Gamabunta can do and the other summons that Minato can use with his contract with the toads. One useful example is the summoning tech: Toad Mouth Bind. This is a summon of the organ (eso****us) of a great, fire-breathing toad from Mount Myōboku. This is a summon so Minato can use it because of his contract with the toad.

Scenario favoring Mu: Let's see if it really favors him.
Let's say that Mu is up there where Minato can't hit him. Since he needs to turn visible to use his powerful attack, Minato was able to see him. What do you think Minato will do to reach him?
Minato can use the Food Cart Destroyer. The summon can be performed in an instant right above the target. No matter how high in the sky Mu is performing the attack, Food Cart Destroyer will definitely fall right above him as shown here:

Please take a good look of Minato's position at the scan above. he was far from kurama yet he landed above him. There are lot of other techs which I can include favoring Minato in every battle but I guess those mentioned above are enough to defeat Mu.
Conclusion: Mu's attack can't penetrate space time barrier and it will be redirected back to him. He also needs to be visible to perform the attack thus giving Minato a chance to perform his jutsu.

just have to say that minato is not an uzamaki he is a namikaze so dont give him the chakra stamina advantage as everyone keeps saying i would say he is a master of sage jitsu and has access to ma and pa's genjitsu as well as most of jiraya's arsenal as well as space time jitsu
