itachi and kisame VS. Guy, Kakashi, Neji, shikamaru, and shino would be a good fight IMO.
add anyone else who is fairly skilled and it would become too much for itachi and kisame

Wtf no way in hell. Simply too many ninjas, itachi and kisame would eventually crumble under the pressure. Even without team gai and naruto gone, remember danzo probably wouldnt kill the toad anyways, he would wet his pants if itachi came back. So root+konoha+naruto coming back earlier+team gai with reinforcements.

he can use his mangekyou powers from a long range like ino's dad said when zetsus took over in the night
he has the power to take most jounin at the same time but with gai and itachi he just doesn't have the chakra to finish the whole village but he could amaterasu a large part, use his genjutsu on many of the fodder and maybe tsukuyomi kakashi again, if he has KA his chances are even greater;he could battle kyubi with sharingan and use suanoo to defend against sage mode xd

Amaterasu burns waaaaayyyyy too slowly. I mean, raikages hand was on fire for a good amount of time and it didnt even pass his elbow.

thats not even just him if he has kisames help. Itachi would get killed quickly. Nagato is much stronger than itachi.
i am an itachi fan. itachi is not on nagato nor edo madara level. very few people can take out an entire village. heck. dedeira has a better chance at blowing up konoha than itachi going on a rampage. fetch. healthy itachi is still itachi. no chakra pool. fodder 11 could take him. inoshikacho plus rocktentenneji. those two groups alone would defeat itachi.
give itachi stamina, then you have a battle.

Hmm k11 cant beat him but you have all of anbu+kakashi+tsunade+danzo(probably when he realizes itachis back in town).
But yeah you are right about itachi not having stamina and not being on nagato or edo madara level. Im a big itachi fan too but people grossly overate him.

itachi is strong but nagato is stronger and that is a fact he took out a village and took down the 7tail in the anime but you think itachi >nagato that is your opinion but the manga evidences says different.
Lol 6 pages? Even Pain had a plan to invade, and had the mass AoE attacks and whatnot to do so. Itachi goes in and then wut? He has to fight off against every single major clan of the leaf village. He is not taking on the entire Akimichi, Inuzuka, Nara, Aburame etc. clan AND Tsunade and the rest of the shinobi that fought Pain. We don't even need Naruto, Itachi gets crushed.

If it's the same Konoha Nagato invaded than yes, if team gai is there and many others that were not shown... than no. Not much of a threat there.

No not even close. Itachi, were he to invade a village, would do it through genjutsu and secrecy.
It would be a slow subtle thing, like taking over people a few at a time with genjutsu, and then having all of them use sneak attacks.
Nagato didn't use any sneak attacks. Sure his attack came as a surprise but he fought with raw power, not from the shadows.
Anyway no Itachi couldn't fight a village.

I think they had enough fight strength to take on Itachi & Kisame. After all its not lime they wouldn't have working knowledge of how Uchiha techniques work. Plus they would figure out Kisame's skills pretty soon with all the Hyuga clan members around they would would see that he's a chakra stealer.
