Does real love actually exist?

I've refrained from reading the walltexts in this thread because I have a feeling most of them will be long rants about tragic relationships, or "yay omg I've been with my bf for like two years now and we're just perfect~ gonna get married this summer so love exists, 'kay?".

I think 'real love' (whatever that actually is) exists. I doubt it will be your fairytale 'Prince Charming enters the room and your heart skips a bit; violins play in the background~' scenario, but yeah, I think love exists. If it didn't, the world would be very bleak.

If it is true love it is for eternety. Some people believe they love at fist then feel that the other dont or the other just plainly dont. And sometimes just life gets in the way and people lose there way of connection. The Love is still there and will always be there. But sometimes the pain is just to much to stay with the one you love.

Yes! True loves exists, if you want it too, but once when you make sure of it's existance, you must make yourself sure to newer forget it, to newer let it perish...it requires you to be strong, it also makes you strong, it requires only a little, and gives you a lot.

You dont have to be with some one to love them. Some people love each other very much but can get alone no matter how much they want. And one or both maybe just to hard headed to say they were wrong or sorry so therefore they never make up and stay split. Does not mean its not love. Just means they find other things to put above love. Love is complicated. Just because two people love each other doesnt mean they will stay together forever. They both have to work and give to the relastionship or it will be forgotten and pushed a side. Just like everything else in live its needs tender loving care. If you plant a flower and dont tend to it, it will die. Love grows as the two people grow. If love is put on a shelf and the other just says well you know I love you even though i dont show it. Love will still feel neglected and unwanted and will leave.

There is only one kind of love. There are many ways to express it, depending on who is the receiver of your love.

Love involves the whole person, not just emotions. I don't understand why it's so hard for you all to get!!!
