hmm so not just pain can break gen? stressing the body can as well?

Of course. For example, when you're interrugating someone, you need to put your target under many layers of genjutsu, because the genjutsus are released the more and more lengthy the session is. Which means straining your own chakra reserves. That is why you can't just torture someone for all eternity, and it's one of the reason Itachi's tsukyomi is so powerful.

hmm alrighty then U_U so for battle purposes if I want to break a genjutsu depending on how the genjutsu is used against me I can say that the strain of the genjutsu on the body frees me?

Yes, but if that is to happen, you should be pretty much K.O damaged, or close to that.

I'll fine a way ;)

Another use is like, imagine your opponent is holding a sword. If you make the branches of the tree envelop his hands and then make them turn on his body, you can make your opponent pierce himself with his own weapon. This is also a good option against people with special swords, because it might make them drop their swords, and thus loose most of the bonus points that come with them.

Oh I like that one the best. I hate people's special weapons. I secretly want one though.

Genjutsu: Kahen Dizorubu (Illusion Technique: Flower Petal Dissolve)

Rank: B
Type:Suplementary
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points:N/A
Description: This illusion makes the user think there being dissolved into sakura petals and renders them fast asleep bound in this illusion.

This is quite the simply jutsu. A good thing is that you can make the petals block your opponent's view, so even if you don't manage to put them to sleep, you can still use that first effect to deliver a following attack.

Who is writing these descriptions. So many grammatical errors that make it seem as if the jutsu does something else lol.

So this jutsu works more like traditional hypnotism it seems.

its like this

Except with petals. They spin and spin around the target, tiring the eyes and drifting them into sleep. Just like this swirly hypnosis thing.

Oh, it could be, yes. Awesome indeed! This means that if you take control/describe the motion of the sakuras, you can recreate this pattern, and thus add an additional confusion/loss of balance to the genjutsu. And it makes me think, if you take control of the sakuras, you could even try to send messages/make images out of falling sakuras, which could be somewhat useful in certain situations. I love you, Mel!

Genjutsu: Kokuangyou Satsu (Illusion Technique: Infinite Darkness)

Rank: A
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:30
Damage Points:N/A
Description: A binding illusion that binds the opponent in total darkness and eliminates smell and touch allowing user to attack freely.

This one was the jutsu used by Orochimaru. It removes sight, smell and touch (though it's a bit stupid because the Third was till able to feel pain from being continuously beaten and slashed by Orochimaru's minions). Either way, it is assumed that a pain superior than continuous superficial wounds is needed to release this jutsu.

Either way, it appears sound is not taken away so if you use silent techniques, like, for example, spikes, the opponent won't be able to say thay senses the ground vibrating, because to sense vibrations touch is required, and this jutsu removes it. If you use the spikes right after the genjutsu, the opponent shouldn't be adapted to the enhanced hearing provided by the loss of all other senses.

This is so nasty lol. People love to use spikes. I wonder why they don't use this combo. Well Actually I haven't seen anyone use this genjutsu technique at all. I suppose if you get caught in this genjutsu its nearly a game over since you can't really even grab a kunai to stab yourself. Maybe you could get lucky and bite your tongue really hard, like after you go to the dentist and your mouth is numb so you don't control it as well lol.

Nah, you can take a kunai fairly easy. This is more like a dark cloak all around you, that also impairs other senses.

Genjutsu: Nehan Shoja No Jutsu (Illusion Technique: Temple Of Nirvana)

Rank: A
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:30
Damage Points:N/A
Description: A slow acting illusion that can put a whole arena to sleep.

This is a very slow acting technique, so in order to use it you would have to distract your opponent with something, but it is still very hard for you to use it. Let's say that if you're able to get your opponents to miss a whole turn without them using kai, then this jutsu takes effect.

Sure. Though the lightning will release the genjutsu.

(Genjutsu: Chou Shinka) - Illusion Technique: Butter Fly Fire Works
Rank: A
Type:Supplementary/Attack
Range:Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:30
Damage Points:60
Description: Traps user in an illusion were they first think that they are sucked into he ground to shoulder height and then they see butterflies but they are really paper bombs that explode once the user puts the main seal on the enemies head.

This is quite simple. The good with this technique is that your opponent can't move from the neck down, so the pain would have to be something like biting the tongue or the cheek, and that could be nasty for your opponent.

I'm not gonna lie I kind of hate on this technique a bit. It's definitely the one I see the most and I always thought it was a lower rank because I feel like its so easy to escape. Since you feel like you're in the ground the first thing youd think to use would be a lightningh attack to free yourself, which would also probably hit the gen user since they need to come closer to you. Sounds too risky for the user imo.

I agree with you. But what if you envelop your opponent with water. Thy won't see it because they will think and feel like they're enveloped by earth. Not only that but the water would also contain the lightning attack, so it wouldn't hit you. Work your genjutsus, Mel.

Btw, torture's over. You've mastered Cannon Genjutsu. Id' teach you a few customs of mine, but since training is soooo bad
