I'm totally against it, that baby is a human being, it is like killing someone because he is a mutant, or you feel he does not belong in the world.

And responding to those "oooh pooor people that was raped etc", well I haven't known anyone that has been raped (that i know of) but still, if you were raped why dont you use the next day pill? as simple as that? if it doesnt work, do it before the baby is 3 months old (which has been proved to be alive).

Your joking right?
A 13 year old gets raped by her dad and is told not to tell anyone or he will hurt her or her mum. What does she do? She doesn't even know the meaning of the word rape, let alone what the morning after pill is. If she has this baby, her and the baby have a HIGH risk of dying either during childbirth or pregnancy. The risk is much to high not to have an abortion.

People like you don't look at the whole picture, you think that it's bad and anyone who does it should be disgusted in themselves.
You are to one sided and obviously haven't read this whole thread, otherwise you will see all the points made by the people who are for abortion (or have had an abortion) in certain circumstances and you would change your opinion on the matter.

Just to ask though, who are you to infer what will happen? When my mom was pregnant with me the doctor told her to abort me because she will die and I will, but my mom didn't and both me and my mom are healthy people...why do you always say a bad what if?

I'm genuinely glad it worked out in your favor. Your mum took a big risk and she took the choice to go through with it, am I happy that you are here now. My point is, that your mum should have also had the choice to abort, sounds tough, I know, but it's only fair.

I'm not particularly in favor of abortion, it's the choice I favor, the choice for the women to decide, and if that means abortion, then it should be allowed. Sorry in advance if I offended you in any way.

I go with the bad if's because in this case they are abundant and more realistic, but, just like your case, good things happen in life.

a woman's decision for abortion doesn't affect anybody, so why argue about it? her body, her choice.

But why are you making that abortion is the only choice? There are other choices out there as well. Also, do people really have any choice in life? Do we not just react to our environment and are forever slaves to it?

The baby?
The environment that the baby would have been in?
The people that the baby would have bonded with?

i wouldnt say abortion is right, but i cant say people shouldnt do it cause sometimes people are put into a bad positon. for example a girl that got raped, should she keep the baby the thing that looked like its father that raped her? yea or if you just cant do it and its going to interfer with school and work or the condom pop some things just arent your fault

I already responded to all of these questions. If you fail to see that, it is not my problem. For the last time, I don't agree with the fact that these questions can be answered in a simple "Yes or No" fashion. You are degrading the situation and it's meaning. Stop asking me to answer in a yes or no fashion because I will not. I already answered these questions in their deserving manner.

Also, you never responded to my key question:

Does the mum have to suffer for the rapists sins?

Facepalm.

So you say you dont want to answer yes or no questions and turn around and ask me a yes or no question lol

Oooooook. Lol maybe you should not debate this topic than. I didnt ask anything hard. You answered them but answered indirectly some and ignored the others. Thats why i continued to repeat myself.

But i understand if they are to hard for you. Like i already said you proven my point. By not attempting to answer directly.

Sir can I respond for him?

1. One of the most celebrated events of our history is someone dying for other's sins. When Jesus died on the cross. So seeing as how our society has treated this act then it seems its justifiable.

2. If he was the one who raped his mother then yes...or had anything to do with it.

3. He does, but if he raped her then I don't see him sticking around to claim the baby. Also most fathers try and not have the baby as most abortions happen when its on accident.

4. The baby doesn't have a choice because its intelligence level is not high enough to understand language, much less the question. Who knows it might grow up to be emo and hoping to die...

Thank you so much!! The questions were difficult for him

1. Bringing Jesus is a whole other debate but since you brought him up. Jesus was fully man and fully god. He and he alone is able to die for the sins of mankind. No other man and no man at all can die for the sin of another, a baby cannot die for the sins of another.

The question is more or less asking, should a baby be punished by death for another man raping a woman. That is how i should have worded it to avoid the confusion. Is the act of the rape justifiable after killing the baby? No. It is not. Because the baby did not commit the crime of rape. The baby is as much of a victim as the mother is.

2. I dont think you understood lol. Basically 2 is the same as 1. Askig if i attacked your mom, is killing you (your moms child) justify the rape?

3 i agree the father has a choice. Obviously not in the case of an event of rape since the act of *** was non consensual. But forget this, this is a whole other arguement itself.

4. So choice to live is only granted to those with intelligence? Or understanding? What about the rights to live? Is that based on intelligence or understanding also? If one doesnt have the mental compacity for language and process info is he/she denied the right to live like they are denie the choice to live?

Again thank you for answering man. Were those questions that hard to answer?! Lol

Agreed to a point I mean I understand that it's the womens choice but if it's not going to effect her and the father wants the baby and everyone knows he can take care of it. Why not let the father have the baby? I know if I was in this situation and it would cause no physical harm to the mother I would want to raise my son or daughter... Ahh might just be me but I dunno...

But why are you making that abortion is the only choice? There are other choices out there as well. Also, do people really have any choice in life? Do we not just react to our environment and are forever slaves to it?

xd I don't know why dude but that last thing reminded me of the Matrix....

It's not, you could give birth and then put the child up for adoption. However, this brings about a lot of risks to both the mum and her newborn. In the end, since there are many sides to the story, I believe the mum should be able to choose for this exact reason. All options, no bias.

The illusion of free will huh? I could go on for hours about this, tabula rasa. heh..takes me back. Like the way you think Piccolosan.

The decision if abortion is good or bad is completely relative of the circunstances.
Depending on how you grew up and your social contract, your morality will define what is good or bad, though it can be completely different than mine.

I find this thread good, but the people to discuss it with is pointless, why? Because we all have different morals, and because it's the internet, we are stubborn enough not to follow the ideology of others. This discussion will lead nowhere, because no one will accept other's moral conduct if they haven't been able to have a direct or indirect contact of the different situations.

So, do I believe abortion is wrong? It depends
Now, are you going to accept that everyone has different morals and thought proccess? It depends on you.

You didn't answer in his "Yes or No" fashion so don't even bother. Second, for the last time I DID ANSWER THOSE QUESTIONS in the same manner as you did! I just didn't respond with a yes or no JUTS LIKE YOU DID.

Damn..are people so blind?

What you complainig about?

Piccolo answered the questions directly while you bs around it. He answered with yes, no and he does and such. He made it clear what his opinion was based on the question while you answered based on your own given scenario.

Thats the difference

I just want a part of this argument, sorry to make you mad?

Ignore him. Hes mad cuz the questions were too hard for him.

Finally someone who can debate/argue with common sense...

1. You said is rape justifiable after the abortion, well how about this. If someone robbed you and stole everything, is it justifiable if he served his time. Or rather if he served the time for the crime ahead of time, can we allow him to commit the crime?

2. Now this makes more sense lol. No it isn't justifiable.

3. Agreed.

4. You didn't understand my answer...I said it isn't even considered because it can't be asked the question. The fetus won't understand the question so we won't be able to get the answer from it. What if the fetus actually wanted to die?

Good points, but the whole discussion thing is pretty much everywhere online, but yet we still make vs. threads and everything. I want to see people's opinions on the matter. It will lead nowhere, but at least I learn something

I understand that. Like if the would be baby daddy would want to keep it, then his decision matters too. But if both agree they're not ready, them whatever both decide is their best choice.

Quote me and tell me where I BS around your questions. I never asked you a yes or no question. I asked you a question. Unlike you, I never wrote "Yes or No".

If you keep indirectly insulting my intelligence, weather right or wrong, I will report you because what I say does not go through your head and it's starting to really annoy me. Stop being condescending.

Okay how about this, what if the mother is thinking only emotionally about getting the abortion? (You know hormones are crazy around this time). What about mental capabilities? What if the mother doesn't have a clear picture of whats going on or what is the bigger picture? If the mother has all the options, knows the facts then...but does that every happen?

lol and thanks

I hate it when people say "whats the point of discussion? People are going to stick to what they think anyways"...

Who cares? Discussion is an oppurtunity for others to express their beleifs morals and to share and learn from one another and to understand each other. And yea 9/10 ppl will end up stubbornly sticking to their idealogy but theres tjat 1/10 chance what you said can impact someone and change their mind or what someone said to you can impact you amd change your mind..

These debates and arguemets are oppurtinities to learn about the opposite opinion!!!

Dont ask "whats the point" ...such a waste of a comment to make
