I hope like heck that this bill doesn't pass. However, if there's ever a time I've actually believed what a President will do what they have said they will, it's now. If it gets pass the Senate, Pres.Obama said he's going to Veto the bill. Once it's vetoed, it'll need a 2/3 majority to actually get past the Veto. I don't see that happening.

And more than that, even if it did, like was said, there would be a massive uproar - and I don't think it'd take long for the Supreme Court to label it unconstitutional, which the Congress can't do anything about.

And yes, Teno, they're right. This bill would censor everything. Narutobase would most likely be gone (for people in the US), most of Youtube would be blocked. That's why people like Google are opposing this bill; though, admittedly, they do have a financial stake in this.

I've not filled out any kind of petition or anything for this yet, but I suppose it wouldn't be a bad idea to do so.
