So I'm thinking that the open attack was just a diversion from the real attack cause when Kakashi says "Were we too late?" it sounds like they were trying to time something.
Also it looks like Hell Realm was definitely a puppet.

I'm curious to see how this nail thing plays out. What do you guys think? is what pain seeing genjutsu? does he hit the sharingan, which means a vonerable chidori? or or does he hit his normal eye leaving him with the chakra draining sharingan only? If the last eye happens maybe he will fight like Zabuza utilizing the Demon Mist jutsu and going off of sound
