Why isn't Kakashi S-class ninja?

kakashi is jounin but not at kage level....he's on par with s-rank missing nin
he has tactical n analytical abilities n also experience but doesnt hav much chakra or stamina to be a kage yet

Obviously he has the chakra and stamina to be kage if the fire lord said to choose him as a candidate after Danzo died. Obviously he's that good.....

Kakashi the copy ninja. Son of the White Fang. So far the only one who has mastered The Sharingan. Also is a non Uchiha who copied over 1000 jutsus is at Hokage level. He had received top marks and had shown an innate aptitude for the ninja arts while in the academy. This permitted him to graduate from it in a single year at the top of his class at the age of 5, and then becoming a chūnin a year later. Naruto notes that Kakashi is smarter than Shikamaru Nara, a better nose than Kiba Inuzuka, a better taijutsu performance than Rock Lee, and has better Sharingan mastery than Sasuke Uchiha.Kakashi has proven himself to be an intelligent ninja with great instincts and battle prowess, making him a match for any opponent. Also what other ninja you know that can stand up to Orochimaru

he is not kage lvl- konoha just didn't have anyone else to be hokage at the time the village was in tatters.

The only person to master sharingan?......I recommend you look at people like Madara,tobi,sasuke,shishui and itachi.......

kakashi with his techniques and thinking capacity will be considered an S-rank but to be at a kage level would be a lil bit somewhat hard to say because he doesn't have monstrous chakra to protect a whole city...

When he was elected to be a hokage, i was thinking if he gets that position it would be hard for him to stand and defend the whole konoha...

Kakashi is more than capable of being Hokage. I think he serves better as a Jounin though, even he said it himself. He was willing to accept the responsibility and lead Konoha, but Tsuunade woke up from her coma and resumed her leadership. I don't think he would have been the best nor the worst Kage. I just don't think it suits his type of character/personality.

He is more than qualified, being under the wing of the Yondaime, Anbu Black-Ops, son of the White-Fang, and has a sharingan.

Being a leader(Kage) doesn't mean you're the strongest, fastest etc. It means you understand your village as a whole, who is best where, what to do under a crisis, diplomacy, and the ability to protect the ideals of your village with your actions. Kakashi would have been able to do/understand all of the above.

yup............ranks are only given to rougue ninjas....
well kakashi is the most cool and the most powerfull ninja in konoha........
