Can the rinnegan break every genjutsu ?

Can the rinnegan see through every visual genjutsu ?

I’m wondering if people changed their mind, on the whole matter, after founding out that the rinnegan is the last stage of the evolvement/evolution of the sharingan. Think about it, why in the blue hell, would its genjutsu defense be worse than it was before? The uchiha’s are known for their incredible skills in the genjutsu art, and some of their techs are so hyped up that they essentially can, if you believe the hype, destroy you after simply catching your eyes. Now, imagine being suddenly worse at it.....Sounds like a demotion to me (from the uchiha's point of view). :|


Sasuke broke one of the strongest ones out there, with a mere sharingan, so logic dictates that the rinnegan should be able break every visual genjutsu imaginable (KA excluded), which would also explain why Itachi didn’t use any genjutsu against Nagato.

Its funny you mentioned sasuke. What you failed to get is that a doujutsu is as strong as its user.
So basically yes, i believe the rennigan can get out of tsukuyomi, but it depends on the user. Sage wouldnt have a problem. Im not sure about nagato though

Tsukuyomi activates in instant. 2 frogs genjutsu worked after 5 mins :/ and through the sound the 3 pains spotted them + they couldnt move in this time

I meant we have seen two. Nagato and Madara.It makes sense why Itachi didn't use genjutsu against Nagato.

We are talking s-rank jutsus here, obviously any genjutsu can be broken.The question is can they be broken before it s too late.

Nobody doubted that Tsukuyomi is much quicker, but the frog one is more deadly.You don't hear me saying, that a rasengan is better than kirin, simply because it takes less time activate.

I think rinnegan field of vision is weak because itachi use kunai at edo nagato summon blind spot and nagato never use an counter attack .\
jiraya manage to use genjutsu on the pein

Itachi's tsukiyomi is easily the second strongest genjutsu, right after Kotoamatsukami.

Well tsukuyomi is much faster as the frogs genjutsu. Frogs genjutsu didnt kill the pains cuz it was jiraiya who impaled stone swords in them thus killing them. Tsukuyomi could kill if itachi would like to he just didnt killed kakashi in part 1 cuz he wanted to protect the leaf and note that kakashi is an elite ninja with sharingan (can cancel genjutsus) but even he couldnt broke the genjutsu
