Shikamaru and his father are more then capable! They have intelligence which can surpass strength when used well So dont rule them out. I would go with one of them but if you want some variety Id say shizune, Ibiki theyre both possibly too weak but maybe. shizune got taught by tsunade and kakashi said the next gen will always surpass the previous. Im wondering about gai, its not so stupid, he is powerfull but I couldnt imagine a man with his techniques running the village, and him standing up for it in a time of disaster, and he can be serious but shows too much emotion through cryin an shit he mucks around too much aswell but if he got given the position he would propably rise to the standards, Unless he rejected the offer...... haha

okay, if they really need a new hokage, it must be Hyūga Hiashi of course, just because he isnt mentioned yet*, or Nara Shikaku.


After that comes Naruto, followed by Konohamaru, followed by Kurenai's daughter, followed by a few more until all countries merge or get blown away or something. Now I can rest again and not post for another year again /lol

these are all stupid questions... 1. the show/ manga has always been about naruto becoming hokage.. 2. saving sasuke... 3.getting control over the fox.. 4.killing madara or sealing madara inside him i personal think madara will be sealed into naruto thus meaning naruto becoming new ruiko [ or something like that] ... ... i doesn't matter how close naruto gets to dieing he'll always find a way out p.s only till the last two minutes will he die or live..

I actually put alot of thought into this, I still dont really know. But If I had to choose probably someone like Sakura Because she took after Tsunade and Learned everything She did. She's strong, She thinks on her feet, She's a medical Ninja and Somewhat of a good leader. I mean look how far she's come n the past 3 or 4 years.

(hypothetically speaking) Pain could bring people back to life again like he did when Naruto defeated him and ended up bringing Jiraiya Back.
Jiraiya is Also a Great Sennin, Strong, Smart, Also quick on his feet, perverted xd He would make a good hokage.

I do not think their be a new Hokage at the village for a long time, by that time Naruto will be a Man and not a Boy. Kakashi was a one time deal offer during a crisis, normal choosing of a Hokage takes time to consider all available candidates and a majority vote determines the winer.

Shikamaru. I can't think of many other ninja (barring Shikaku) that are smart or mature enough for the job. Most of the ones with the wisdom are dead.

Aren't We all forgetting about SHINO!!!...but it would have to be someone of the Nara persuasion and if Shikaku(i dont remember how to spell his name) is stronger than Shikamaru(im guessing he is) then he would be the best choice...
But don't rule out the aburame xd

Gai can be very serious at times though...he isnt too stupid hes just an enthusiast who believes in the power of youth

normally i wouldnt say this but.... sakura is almost a copy of tsunade and shes older then garra whos the kaze kage so dont say shes to young. you cant call her not smart enough she learned everything from lady tsunade and even as a kid she was kinda smart. thoe wasent good in battles u.u
