Genjutsu is highly overrated! Bee could beat itachi anyday!

genjutsu is actually powerful it just depends on when you use it for example sasuke genjutsu that he placed on danzo was weak and couldn't manipulate time but he used it at the right time to trick danzo causing to his defeat.:flaw:

why to ppl think genjutsu can kill you? there is no genjutsu that can kill you! it merely targets you nervous system and one of the 5 senses. it is made to stun/confuse/immobilize/and make you collapse. after the genjutsu or during the genjutsu the user then makes the move for the kill. (visual/sharingan) but against a 2+ man cell fight, genjutsu is irrelevant because the partners would release the spell. against tsukiomi, the parter would protect the collapsed one, and wake them up/snap them out. plus the eft one tsukiomi has on the user is quite high (unless your sasuke with out of no where power ups!)

(sound) is said by shikamaru to be the best out of all the 5 senses genjutsu! the reason is it could target multiple enemies instead of one. and take it from there. these two are the main ones being used in the show so i want bring up the other senses since there is nothing to support them.

overall, even the tsukiomi cant kill some one. but is merely used to help go for the win. some one like killer bee would be protected from any tsukiomi, why? because not only does he have the 8tails to protect from all damage (octo arms and other things) and snap him out (since its 2 minds in one body. bee also has samehada who also has a separate mind that protects from all damage, pump bee with chakra to wake him up, and also heal all damage down to bee.

so please stop saying one tsukiomi wins a fight when it is a fact that it doesn't, it can lead to the victory tho. bee>>itachi any day all day!

you make a good point but the whole rescue by the other person failed to happen about three times in the series against itachis genjutsu. he used genjutsu on kakashi and on naruto twice but his friends assistance didnt help.

We are not discussing the overall Uchiha genjutsu but Itachi's who is a master at using it.

As to the Senju part not all Uchiha used genjutsu (I think) or were that good at it. I mean look at Sasuke he does use genjutsu but not as much and isn't that good at using it since it has failed him a few times. Tobi never used genjutsu when he encountered Minato but he did use Izanagi VS Konan which is considered as a a very powerful genjutsu cast on the user instead of others. Also Madara and 1st fought each other a lot they both lost against each other and won so the 1st would have had to figure out ways to fight a sharingan and told the Senju clan.

No one is indicating Uchiha are unbeatable, everyone who doesn't agree with a certain power that a certain Uchiha has (Itachi and His mastery in genjutsu) just assume we are saying they are unbeatable and start saying things like fanboys and etc. but yet people say things like Pein and his six bodies including Shinra Tensei, Kabuto and his world resurrection including Oro DNA, KB with 8 tails and Samehada and so on would beat so and so but when people say Itachi MS, genjutsu (Tsukuyomi), Susanoo, Amaterasu is overrated.

To be fair, Bee was destroying Hawk. He did acknowledge that Sasuke was strong and so that puts up a good argument that Bee was indeed fighting to stay alive. Bee let out his 8-tails form on purpose btw. In short, he was fighting at 100% in his beast-cloak form and he could've defeated them easily using that. Then again, Sasuke didn't have Susano'o but Bee also did not have the Samahada.

And Senju were NOT genjutsu users.

i think bee will defeat itachi anyday, but itachi's tsukyomi will knock bee out. reason is that itachi mastered tsukyomi to a level where he cud alter ur perception of time(so said danzo) so in one second he cud stab kakashi continuously for 3 days. thus, b4 the eight tails wud release bee from itachi's tsukyomi, he wud have taken serious damage. but bee wud still win cos samehada cud heal him from almost any injury, plus his 8 tails chakra to protect him.

Blackbird you are wrong. Sasuke escaped from itachis tsukoyomi. It's not impossible.

Second I want to point out that the 8 tails was trying to wake bee from the genjutsu, but it was samehada that actually did it.

It is the Hachibi waking up KB from the genjutsu and AFTER that he takes samehada to grab his 8 swords. So basicly he already snapped out of it, and what lolled me more is that he isnt using samehada just to attack, but also as storage for his swords lmfao.

Didn´t take the time to read all the post but I agree that genjutsu can´t kill however that instant that it would take someone to snap out of it could be all the time needed to kill that person. I mostly rely on Itachi for my arguement, but due to the recent battle of him against bee, Itachi seemed to be winning. Samehada is weak against fire which Itachi knew and had an advantage since fire is an Uchiha trait. The cloak seemed to be doing no good since sharingan sees chakra and 8 tails is pure chakra. Any of its moves are useless with a speed like Itachi´s and bee is good, but Itachis genjutsu would mean game over. I disagree that gen is overrated. It would depend on the characters and their experience in dealing with it. Kakashi fell to itachi. What does that tell you?

You're effected, it's just that your beast has to "wake you" out of the genjutsu. Naruto cannot do this as the Nine-Tails Fox doesn't co-operate with him. Note that even if you have a Tailed-Beast waking you out of genjutsu, it still takes time and time is essential when fighting Itachi's Tsukiyomi.

It's not rocket science... sussano seals everything it touches with its sword once itachi hits the 8tails 1 time.... like sasuke did with amaratsu, its game over for 8tails.
