Genjutsu is highly overrated! Bee could beat itachi anyday!

well, a 2 man team wouldnt necessarily be immune to genjutsu, remember in one of narutos first encounters with itachi, he not only could use his sharingan eyes but also the sharingan symbol on his ring. Also i firmly believe that a genjutsu user such as itachi has the skill to lock multiple people in his genjutsu, its just after the first person falls prey the others focus on snapping them out of it(mainly because i think it would be boring if he simply genju'd a 2 man team and then stabbed them). Also as far as bee, when dealing with a powerful genjutsu, once again such as itachi's the 8 tails isnt a guaranteed remedy. Remember in the recent episode, the 8 tails was shaking him to try and snap him out of it but he was out cold until samehada jumped in, and from the look of what it did, i dont think bee broke free of it because of a chakra transfer from the sword, i think it happened because of the sword slashing its spines into his hand, after all inflicting pain on the body is just as effective a release as a burst of chakra.

Thus, can be said that the genjutsu kills you through mentality,in reality it implies to brain damage which leads you to death.

Draegod, tsukoyomi can kill, period. I agree with you that Bee would easily break out with the 8 tails, but any other ninja can be killed by Tsukoyomi.

In a real life fight, (No edo tensei) I think Itachi would still win because all the justsu Itachi used against Sasuke and Orochimaru are still at his disposal.

why to ppl think genjutsu can kill you? there is no genjutsu that can kill you! it merely targets you nervous system and one of the 5 senses. it is made vstun/confuse/immobilize/and make you collapse. after the genjutsu or during the genjutsu the user then makes the move for the kill. (visual/sharingan) but against a 2+ man cell fight, genjutsu is irrelevant because the partners would release the spell. against tsukiomi, the parter would protect the collapsed one, and wake them up/snap them out. plus the eft one tsukiomi has on the user is quite high (unless your sasuke with out of no where power ups!)

(sound) is said by shikamaru to be the best out of all the 5 senses genjutsu! the reason is it could target multiple enemies instead of one. and take it from there. these two are the main ones being used in the show so i want bring up the other senses since there is nothing to support them.

overall, even the tsukiomi cant kill some one. but is merely used to help go for the win. some one like killer bee would be protected from any tsukiomi, why? because not only does he have the 8tails to protect from all damage (octo arms and other things) and snap him out (since its 2 minds in one body. bee also has samehada who also has a separate mind that protects from all damage, pump bee with chakra to wake him up, and also heal all damage down to bee.

so please stop saying one tsukiomi wins a fight when it is a fact that it doesn't, it can lead to the victory tho. bee>>itachi any day all day!

itachi didnt use tsukiyomi on bee... he used a regular genjustu that he can cast with simply his fingers. as soon itachi activated his mongekeyo sharingan the crow came out of naruto and converted him. if bee got caught in tsukiyomi it would of been over, if you dont remember like danzo said tsukiyomi can control the perception of time at his whim, so wat is second in the real world goes as years in bees mind crushing it before bees beast or the sword can get to him, when it was first brought out with kakashi

itachi said the only one that can break out of it is a person with the uchiha blood in them, that is why kakashi got hit with it even with the sharingan. you need the sharingan and uchiha blood and then maybe you have a chance, like with sasuke. kakashi was with 2 people when he got hit and it happened so fast that 3 days went by in kakashis head but it was seconds to him. tsukiyomi isnt ment to be used to kill people, like danzo said its actually not that strong however he said it is how you use it that counts, itachi a master of genjustu so he knew how to cast any genjustu in the right why,tsukiyomi main perpose is to breakdowns one spirit making them weak after encountering a justu that lasted for days or months of pain in there head but seconds in the real world, so itachi than can capture, defeat, or interrogate them. a regular genjustu can be broken out of with another person next to you, or a tail beast, but this isnt a regular genjustu. the fact that you said bee can easily defeat itachi shows you know nothing! we havent even see itachi fight to his fullest. itachi vs kakashi... that was a given, it lasted seconds and he barely did anything. itachi vs naruto and kakashi, lasted for a little and he was playing with them as a diversion and even that was a challenge for them. itachi vs sasuke... we saw more but itachi was sick, and he was playing with sasuke to make him drain his chakra so still we havent seen anything. now with itachi vs bee, couldnt you see he was trying to fight back as much as he could of. he was telling them what not to do, "dont look into my eyes" and he was trying as hard as he could to hold back, so still we reallying havent seen his full potential unlike with pain, orochimaru, and alot of other. like madara told sasuke if he itachi wanted you dead you wouldnt be here now. itachi doesnt just rush in, he plans and thinks which is why he wins, he it like neji, shikumaru, guy, kakashi, and sasuke combined, at a higher extent. come on he became captin of the anbu at age 13 and wiped out his clan at what age... 16??? 17??? and it was top class elite ninja at that. bee fought sasukes team and had to retreat when sasuke brought out his tsukiyomi, itachi is stronger than sasuke so if he really fought bee, bee would be wounded. bee is strong too dont get me wrong, but itachi is on a diffrent level. look how fast he delt with pain!!! itachi is beast and thats all i got to say. read the manga, killer bee did not get caught in tsukiyomi.
