I did not ask for your opinion cause it was written in black on white... And you saying Itachi went all out on sasuke is the proof that I was (partially wrong cause you admitted he would have won) right and that you underestimate the guy...
Sasuke did not win the genjutsu battle... Danzo also made a note of how Itachi's Genjutsu was sooo much better than Sasuke's when they fight each other... Itachi let him.... Also Itachi probably did had to use all of what was left of his strength but if he actually went all out the fight would not have lasted, and Itachi would not have used all his strength... you seem to disregard the fact that Itachi meant to achieve a couple goals in this fight against his baby bro... :
Number one goal Kill Orochimaru... which he achieved in a couple seconds when he poped out of sasuke... but in order to achieve his number one goal he had to exaust Sasuke.
Number two... Make the fight look real... thus he had to take hits, he had to make it look like he was surprised... in fact he did so well that even Zetsu thought Sasuke had won the genjutsu battle...
Number three... implement a special trap for tobi... which failed.
and number four, die from his brother's hands...
The combination of all 4 goals were almost perfectly executed (he failed the 3rd one)
Now please at least tell me that you realized by now that Itachi was self sabotaging himself in order for his goals to be accomplished....

Danzo stated Sasuke's Tsukuyomi was not as good as Itachi's and Madara even agreed and i agree its true but that doesnt mean Sasuke is bad with genjuts. nor does it mean Itachi didnt lose to Sasuke in genjutsu battle cuz he apparently did.. Sasuke doesnt have the level of control Itachi has. Sasuke has shown us his great genjutsu abilities many times, interogating a cloud ninja to find Killer Bees location, temporarily stopping Bee and he even used a weak genjutsu on Danzo that was key in defeating Danzo!!

Itachi underestimated Sasuke on his genjutsu skills. Itachi was suprised of Sasuke's speed. he told Sasuke he got better. he admitted to Sasuke that Kiri would have killed him if not for Sasuno. he said Sasuke was clever in using Oro's jutsu to avoid amaterasu. Itachi gave Sasuke mad props that you Itachi fanboys deny him. Yes agreed sick Itachi would have won if he was serious but Sasuke held his wieght agaisnt him!! admit it..
