yea, i also see sasuke alive after the manga. but it will be a long wait for that end.
the "reunion" of the characters through this art of edo tensei should not be an alarm to us all re Naruto manga's fitting end. the characters' individual "techs" are what we witness as showcases in this 4th shinobi war. not the ending. no no, not a premonition of the ending. this is why we have the current war -- but personally, it is not the "real" war madara mentioned before.

sasuke, definitely is Naruto's friend. and Naruto is sasuke's friend. it will stay that way til the end.
..as for the Naruto-sasuke battle at the valley of death, i believe Naruto was the winner. we saw sasuke emerged the last one standing. yes, Naruto was down. that was because Naruto never intended to kill if not "contain" sasuke. yet we saw sasuke's forehead protector "scratched" as Naruto intended - with sasuke challenged Naruto before that Naruto couldn't even touch sasuke's protector.
..sasuke knew Naruto was getting stronger by the day. he left konoha knowing orochimaru will make him stronger --- faster, faster than how Naruto improved by the day.

...sasuke didn't kill Naruto because he knew Naruto had the strength to "kill" him that day. and he didn't kill Naruto because Naruto "IS HIS FRIEND".

hey there jabz, love reading every single one of your posts dude! a lot of insight seems to go in them and it all adds up. heck, sometimes i wonder if your the man kishi himself haha!

i agree with you about the bond sasuke and naruto share, a very unique bond, rare aswell, the only one of its kind in my opinion in the series, far greater than the lee-gai or even tsunade-sakura one. i say the tsunade-sakura bond as well because even though we havent seen much of those 2 together we have witnessed small amounts of scenes when those 2 really come together. as seen in the first series in the filler arc containing mizuki when tsunade claims sakura might be an even greater machine than shizune, when tsunade claims sakura is one of the very few people to have her complete trust, during the pain arc when sakura held her masters hand and an emotional scene took place and overwhelming joy sakura showed when tsunade woke from her coma.

even though i waffled on about them STUFF THEM! i highly doubt the final fight of sasuke and naruto will be shown in this war, i think this war will have many casualties, which naruto will see himself. this will further reinforce his determination to bring forth peace to the ninja world and his determination to bring sasuke to the light.

i am no fan of kabuto either. i hate him. he's a weasel who to me, is all words no action, a sarcastic rat who will suffer a great deal when madara finally loses it with him. he runs from a lot of situations and if he claims to be so great would confront his enemies rather than run from them. i think kabuto's "that jutsu" is definitley connected to the mysterious coffin there is so much hype about. that may be his one trump card against madara and as long as madara finds out what that jutsu is then madara simply has to wait and keep his cool against kabuto.

And in regard to this, I am sorry but you either made a huge mistake when reading or read a bad translation. The actual meaning of the statement you are quoting said that Jairaya could still be revived if Kabuto could locate the Sixth Paths of PAIN's weapons. Remember them all stabbing him at once? Each of them house Jairaya Boy's DNA but Kabuto hasn't found them. Got it?

i definitley agree with all you have said but im afraid im gonna stick with my guess of that technique being related to the last coffin one of those feelings that wont change XD

i can also see sasuke becoming hokage, with naruto travelling the world bringing peace to all 4 corners of the land. a true legacy that would be but i have to admit with the amount of pain sasuke has caused everyone it will take a great deal of repentence from him. the final fight between the 2 friends, will be terrific, and i wouldnt mind waiting another 10 years if it means its the best thing ill ever see!

for me, madara would beat kabuto to a pulp even if he didnt have the things he has at his disposal. one of his best techniques however is a little something called experience. madara will definitley know how to utilise every instrument available to him and will make the best of the smallest of opportunity. kabutos nothing more han a leech, a parasite, a housefly, a vulture feeding off of others hard-worked creations and gathering. my oh my i have dozens of names for him. madara calls the shots - its that simple, kabuto is growing in power as he claims, i mean who else would he speak to when hes alone in the room, no one there to lie to.

kabuto has his power spoon fed to him by orochimaru, madara got his all on his own. decades of experience on the battlefield, a natural using the sharingan and intelligence far out-matching that of shikamaru and kakashi. i just cant see kabuto becoming th final villain as others here say.

madara said himself that he knows kabuto is hoping that madara's army and he AFS will pick each other off one by one but i think that madara is hoping that the summons dissapear one at a time which will enable madara to easily gain the upper hand against kabuto. just an outside thought though.

...some of the peeps like kabuto's vibe in the manga - hell yeah,,,some really are having cowardice in them ...but they are intelligent enough to fool a vigorous one.

madara with his "myth" erases any kabuto accomplishment. many being said...

I think that it is clear that neither sasuke nor naruto will part-take in this war, it seems demeaning to allow so many fights to happen and to have naruto 'save the day' thats very cliche and i believe the creators are more imaginative than that, i also think that it would be impossible for both kabuto and madara to die in this arc reasons being that this would be a VERY long arc... it seems that kabuto is slowly losing chakra and therefore i think that he will be the demise in this arc, whereas madara prepares for 'something bigger'

Great post everyone. It would take me forever to write to you all and to Jabz great post's I enjoy your organization and clarity.

Now getting back to Naruto. While Kabuto is on his Edo summoning rampage, there should have been a few members of konoha included in that line up..All these ppl are dead to my assumption.

1st. We have no other but Konoha's white fang aka Kakashi's dad. This would have been a great time for Kishi to show us what he can do. If he fought against Kakashi the battle would of been a good one.

2nd. Konohamru's father aka asuma's brother. During the entire season of naruto we have heard nothing about Konohamru's dad. It is said that the Sarutobi clan where gifted with mastering high level jutsu's. For ex Konohamaru learned Rasengan which is an A rank jutsu. Asuma was apart of the 12 monks and Sarutobe Hiruzen was consider the God of Shinobi. To Kishi, if I were you, this would have been a great time to show us Konohamaru's dad. Im sure hes just as strong as his brother asuma and his dad Hiruzen.


3rd. The 3rd person I would have like to see revive would have been no other but Hashirama's son aka tsunade's father. Considering hes Hashirama's son, im sure he inherited some of his father's strong chakara and abilities..Also, his mother Uzumaki Mito was the fist jinchuuriki of the 9tails. He would have been another person I would love to see in this war because of his fathers strenght and chakara and the uzumaki's sealing abilities..he would be just as old or around the age of the 3rd Hokage.

Anywho, this is just some characters I would have thought Kishi would have shown us during this battle. As for something to check out, if you haven't been to leafninja.com to see there site, I would deff check it out. They have lots of information about the naruto series and they do a great job with organizing the information.

I would have to say a lot of what you have to say is insightful, but I disagree with you about the bonds. We see a similar bond like the one Naruto and sasuke share between jiraiya and Orochimaro. The goofy teamate, and the serious teammate who craves power and strength. Also the way Jiraiya tries to bring back orochimaro is similar to naruto and sasuke, don't you agree??

These two pages tell me that Madara = Tobi = Mizukage
He is who he says he is.

And as far as the coffins that are yet unidentified...
I love to speculate, and I think my guess is just as good as another.
But, yes, it could go a number of different ways...
I'm dying to find out which one Kishi chooses.

Im not so sure that anyone is unbeatable...
even as OP as Madara seems and as OP as Sasuke or as OP as Nagato seemed...

it cant be the sage of six paths because kabuto said recently to madara that he cant summon him due to a lack of DNA, and that was after he showed madara the 6th coffin so its obviously not him. i for 1 believe that the person in the 6th coffin is either madara uchiha or Izuna uchiha. however it could be someone else.xd

It would be interesting but I think Kabuto is resurrecting guys who were strong and famous for their abilities so if one of the 7SM is not Suigetsu's older brother we won't see him.

nice theory man i tottaly agree.. but I still believe sasuke was stronger that day.. an i honestly believe this time they fight naruto will be stronger because back then his resolve wasn't as strong as sasuke's.. also he didn't know pain.. now that he know's true pain i believe he will be stronger than sasuke and madara at the end.

I think Kakashi will use his MS to transport Zabuza to wherever it is Madara takes people with his body flicker. After that, resurrected Zabuza will survive, which means it is not really another dimension, rather a physical space. This will provide the shinobi alliance with all sorts of new information about the nature of the Sharingan.

it wouldn't seem strange if naruto vs sasuke isn't going to happen in this war. some extremely epic battles will happen, but i think Kishi wants a little screentime with Naruto as Hokage. I mean.. There are two things that MUST happen to me

1. Naruto MUST become Hokage and stuff or this whole manga is as lame as the filler with that bug that would show the road to Sasuke by smell

2. Naruto MUST die at the end of the manga... That would officially pown DBZ too (which used 2B my all time favorite!) coz Goku dies more times than his Powerlevel

Would be sad if he died but also heroic
