[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 522 Discussion and 523 Predictions

We dont know hat the power itachi gave naruto is.....yet. But during their encouter itachi did say to naruto he hoped he wouldnt have to use it sould sasuke attack konoha. We also know what a terrific planner itachi was, doing his utmost best to prevent sasuke from falling into the wrong hands e.g. planting his MS into sasuke at the time of itachis death to prevent madara from getting his hands on him. Putting his planning skills together with him saying "hope you never use the power" brings us the likely conclusion of the power being a counter technique against a technique of sasukes, maybe a fatal one.
I highly doubt the one and only nara shikamaru would suffer death in this war. He's an invaluable asset to the ASF, and as characters have said a likely role for hokage, even though he wouldn't take it due ot his laziness. I don't think any of the konoha 11 will die in this war. Gaara wont die as well, even though he is inexperienced in war, i am sure he has the capablities to hold his own against a few powerful foes.
However if he is in a situation where death is the only option (this may sound wacky to you guys) i think the tsuchikage will give up his life for gaara. If you remember correctly in the meetings the tsuchikage disliked gaaras ideals greatly and complained about how young he is and how he is not suited to the position of kazekage. At last Gaara answered back by saying the simple sentence of, "kazekagae, when did you throw yourself away?" Meaning - when did you throw your morals away to become a corrupt leader. Now i would give you a link to this chapter but i cant remember what chapter it is and my internet is being extremely laggy so im not going to bother!!! Anyway a few moments after we saw determination and anger on the tsuchikages face when he was travelling and was all pumped up. We have also seen many great sacrifices and death the older generation give for the younger e.g. chiyo for gaara. It seems the younger generation changed the views of the older generation and altered their way of thinking as chiyo said herself she had not done anything right all her life and while giving her life for gaara is about to do a good deed for the first time. This is why i think gaara's life might be saved by the tsuchikage as the tsuchikage's morals and views have been changed for the good.

So you ask about the roles of the kages. Well i think currently they may have taken a backseat and analyse situations themselves for further planning. No doubt will each and every one of them feature in some heavy battles but that might be a couple of months away as this war isn't finishing any time soon. No doubt would they know techniques which would bind souls as they are obviously kages but then again their enemy is madara and the ever so sly kabuto who will have tricks up their sleaves to prevent the kages from performing such techniques.

Now to think of it Itachi's powers that he gave to Naruto must play a BIG part in the fight between Naruto and Sasuke, knowing Itachi it must be something that will either kill Sasuke or take all his Sharingan powers or something like that. It's just my guess though.
I don't think that none of the young generation of shinobi are gonna die.... Kakashi said leave it all to the young ones to clean up the mess that we old folks left behind.. Chiyo said that Gaara and Naruto are the ones that are going to change the future dramatically after Naruto becomes the Hokage like none before him.

thats true next thing you know he'll be on hiatus for 2 weeks ( which i hope it wont be) .. i just hope he would release at least 20 pages from now on

I would really like to see how Naruto handles the summons of the Edo Tensei, more importantly does Kabuto knows that Zetsu is spying on him.

...it is also fitting we know your opinion re the 6th coffin.
...madara as tobi told us somewhere in the storylines his existence is only a "shell" of what he was. the way he employs space/time jutsu is out of this world. looking at the zetsus, they seem similar to tobi -- could be soul-less. this is another topic though...
...or you can tell me an identity madara fears if not these two i refered to.

as for who is in coffin......hmm man i really cant guess to well
and madara heh......my theory is kind of out there
but here's the short version
madara (with injuries still left from hashirama fight, during time he was training itachi and shisui) had obtained obito's body......he combined the cells of hashirama with obito's body through years of oro/kabuto like experimentation......after body fully accepted senju cells he transfered his soul to new body and has continued to hone skills and get comfortable with new body
since he had transfered his soul he had lost his ems.....(w/o his soul his previous body crumbled to nothing like an edo after talk no-jutsu)
thus he uses nagato and sasuke to perfect their respective doujutsu only so he can take them for his own in the end.......well he hopes anyway
well thats the wack brain theory i came up with after putting together all i know about madara
his age and timeline
his doujutsu
looks/name play with obi-tobi
compatabilitie with white zetsu (tobi had his arm regenerated after battle w/konan)
anyway back to coffin........i have no idea who could make tobi react like that......and would have to be kept quiet or it would threaten madara
Quite a strange theory.... Though i often wondered why on earth isn't madara using his mangekyo sharingan...? Every time we saw him, it was a plain normal sharingan.... and the fact that his hair had become short.. u know, when itachi found him out and threatened him, we saw big spikey hair... but the tobi version had short hair... if he wanted the world to know about his existence, then why even take a fake identity???
Naruto series is quite complicated, may be thats why i like Naruto series and Masashi.....xd
Anyway, we will come to know what is the truth in the following chapters....
