When newbs invade, NB goes down.

The funniest part to me is, when we were in what I would consider the "golden era" of NB, most of the people who aren't enjoying this era so much, myself included, were in fact the noobs of that time. O^O I don't believe that it's a matter of the site going downhill, it's just that NB is far more appealing when you're still in your "noob phase." I can pretty much clearly recall the era in which I found to be the funnest, and it was pretty much just like this one: plenty of OPed people, noobs fought far more than veterans, etc.
Although, you're somewhat right Zero. =/ But to be honest, there are just some people that are far too difficult to train and help become better. But for the most part, I'm beginning to find that with the right instruction, and if every sensei pitches in to helping just one person in strategy training, the RP will be more like it used to be. But as far as NB itself goes with stuff like the Blood Tavern coming back to life as much as it was back in the day. Yeah... there's pretty much no hope for that. =/ There're just certain people that can't be replaced, and those are the people that pretty much kept the Tavern alive. Now they rarely post or are inactive altogether.

What you say sounds reasonable and as you say there are those people who can't be helped but they come and go and it's them we can make fun of ^^ and the blood tavern has been revived last night.

Nah, I wasn't referring to it simply being revived. The only strict moderators, IMO, are Rag and Mugi. O_O
And even Mugi moderates pretty fairly.
